before site visit

Procedure
1.1. Before visiting a site, check site preparations based on
Site Preparation Checklist. For example, check whether
materials arrive at the site, whether site access is
permitted, and whether transmission information, design
files, and tools are ready.

Notes
1. If onsite conditions are inconsistent with the conditions
described in the design file, contact Huawei site engineers
for confirmation.
2. If you encounter site access problems, contact Huawei

Procedure
1. Check whether the model and number of onsite main
equipment, such as the cabinet, antennas, RRUs, BBU,
and DCDU, are consistent with that specified in the
engineering design file and material checklist (there is a
packing list attached to the equipment packaging), and
whether the appearance of packaging is intact.
2. If the inspection passes, unpack the packaging, and
check whether the number of materials is correct and
whether they are intact. In addition, request the logistics
service provider and implementation team to sign the DN.
3. Provide the NMC with the BBU ESN, which can be
obtained from the left mounting ear of the BBU.
4. Sort the materials and classify them as main equipment
and materials for the antenna system.

Notes
1. Do not unpack the packaging, and report the problem to
the project team in either of the following scenarios:

Procedure
1. Prepare a cable with a proper length based on the actual
route and install an OT terminal at both ends of the cable.
2. Connect one end of the PGND cable to the ground bar
on the inner side of the cabinet.
3. Route and connect the other end of the PGND cable to
the ground bar outside the cabinet. After the cables outside
the cabinet are covered with corrugated pipes (black anti-
ultraviolet corrugated pipes are recommended), route and
connect the other end of the PGND cable to the outdoor
ground bar. Then, waterproof and seal both ends, and
press and install the terminal.
4. If cabinets are stacked, install an equipotential cable for
the cabinets according to the cable connection shown in
the figure and then ground the cabinets.

Notes
