Less than a month ago talking with my best friend Pamela, she convinced me to
take a trip to Machu Picchu, I prepared everything I should take to a warm place
but also some warm clothes in case it rained, the trip would be for 4 people, me,
my friend and two of her friends.
I was in another place with my grandmother and had to return to Cusco ,i slept
that night in my friend´s house because we had to leave early so that the bus
wouldn´t leave us.
Next day started our own adventure, one of the friends who traveled with us said
that his brother would take us in his car to Santa Teresa,then we went to the
Hidroelectrica and started walking to get to Machu Picchu ,while we where
walking we saw a lot of messages written on wood that said :¨have care of your
life¨or ¨ just to walk not for bikes¨, we saw many trees and small cabins where
people sold food and drinks also i saw a lot of small ornaments and I bought one
to myself, we bought beer and my friend said:¨We must put all waste in a bag so
as not to contaminate¨ we did that because she was right ,we continued with our
walk, it was very funny because the boys got tired very quickly and while the time
passed it started to rain and we had tu run ,we did all that walk in 3 and a half
hours, we arrived very wet at the hotel ,there we ate a delicious grilled chicken .
The last day we arrive exactly at the historical sanctuary ,to enter the rules said
that we should have a drink for aurselves ,the most incredible think about that
place was the Inti Watana which was an astrological clock to define the seasons
of the year, seeing all that wonderful place I realized why so many people from
all over the world came to visit the place.To return to Cusco we called our friend
to picked us up again from Santa Teresa because he has never lost in that place
and we probably would.
I would like to visit again Machu Picchu with my mom and my brother because i
think that is a place that would like them a lot.
