b. And Thinking It through

1. Is love better than life like what is believed by the Nightingale?
In my opinion, life is more important than love, because as many people
believe, love can come and go, but live only once.
2. Is Logic more useful than love like what is stated by the student?
I think yes. sometimes when we fall in love, it's like we're blinded by everything.
So thinking logically should take precedence over love.
3. Pay attention to how the author talks about the nightingale and the
student. Can you feel the different tones? With whom do you think the
author shows more sympathy?
Yes, the tone is different. When the writer is in the Nightingale position and
describes the student, there are many comparisons of words to better show the
situation described.
In my opinion, the writer is more sympathetic to the student.
4. What one sentence can you write to summarize the message you get from
the story?
true love is not selfish and requires sacrifice
