Training Design
I. Rationale
The total development of a teacher plays a vital role in serving quality education. Education is a
continuous process and it must be pushed through despite of Global pandemic. To provide
solutions in this current situation, teachers were educated and trained through series of LDM
sessions and upon applying what we have learned for the past few months still a number of
complications continuously arise. Having this, teachers need to be developed further and be
well-equipped with necessary information, skills, knowledge and positive attitudes towards
excellence in improving learners’ output.
The Department of Education designs/ crafts / implements the School Based Training on the
Results Based Performances of LDM Course for Teachers, to better perform their duties and
responsibilities.
II. Objectives:
The participants should be able to:
a. Align and strengthen the teachers-parents’ roles, duties and responsibilities in new normal
setting of Education.
b. Develop Intervention Programs for the identified struggling learners in terms of numeracy
and literacy skills on LDM results.
c. Improve teachers’ skills in constructing Instructional Materials in English and Filipino.
d. Enhance teachers’ ability in producing Instructional Materials in Mathematics.
e. Produce and construct at least 3 to 5 outputs (Instructional Materials) in English, Filipino and
Math.

May I have the honor to request permission from your office to conduct a 5-day School-Based In-
Service Training on the Results Based Performances of LDM Course for Teachers which will be held on
December 14-18, 2020 at San Miguel Elementary School.
The main objectives of the aforementioned training are the following:
 Align and strengthen the teachers-parents’ roles, duties and responsibilities in new normal
setting of Education.
 Develop Intervention Programs for the identified struggling learners in terms of numeracy
and literacy skills on LDM results.
 Improve teachers’ skills in constructing Instructional Materials in English and Filipino.

The participants to this 5-day In-Service Training are all teachers of San Miguel Elementary School.
