Creativity and Aging
Q4. Into what three groups did Dudek divide the participants in her 1991
study? What were her conclusions?
Dudek divide the participants into three groups: famous; very successful; and ‘nice guys,’
men who had never strived to be famous, but who had fulfilling careers. She concluded
that they were happy with their lives and wouldn’t do things differently, and that
creativity had enhanced their lives and made their old age more successful and enjoyable.
Q5. Does a creative person need to achieve fame to find satisfaction with his
or her talents? Why or why not?
No, because most "creative" people find their own self-satisfaction within their work. The
most significant aspect of creativity is the joy and satisfaction that the creativity brings to
the creator.

Q6. List one or more areas in which you are creative. Projecting into the
future, develop a life plan that would allow you to use your creativity
throughout your life. Consider how you can develop your talents and how
you can use them even if physical limitations slow you down.
Graphic designing and freelancing are major areas in which I feel more creative and
confident about my future. I want to provide an online freelancing platform to people
with skills like programming, video editing, graphic designing, technical writing and
cinematography in Pakistan. this platform will help them to generate online job
opportunities and make easy for them to earn money, it’s also helps people with physical
disability to work from home. If physical limitations slow down then by practicing this
idea, I am able to use my talent.
