To formally begin this seminar, let us ask the Lord’s guidance and blessing
through an opening prayer. Let us put ourselves in the Holy presence of
God.
In the name of the Father…
Lord God,

We thank you that you promise to be with us always. Thank you that your
presence is with us right now.

Today we give you our hearts, our minds and our lives. Come speak your
words of life into our beings. We pray that you would deepen our
comprehension, broaden our thinking, and transform our understanding of
what we are about to learn. For you are our wise counselor, our perfect
teacher and our faithful friend.

Thank you Lord.

Welcome to this year’s Career Mentoring Program which is an annual

activity designed for you, our Grade 11 (Senior High School Program) and
Year 1 (International Baccalaureate Diploma Program) students that aims
to: provide you knowledge about careers you are interested in, offer you
opportunities for career networking, equip you with skills necessary for
career planning and introduce you to people who can serve as your career
role models.

you!
