Narrative Report on Post Conference and Selection of Best Division Digitized Learning
Materials for Kindergarten/ Headstart and Learners with Special Educational Needs

Learning together' is one of the hallmarks of professionalism and will be essential if the
aspirations of quality education are to be achieved. Hence, the SDO of Pangasinan II conducted an
event pursuant to DM no. 392, S. 2020 – Post Conference and Selection of Best Division Digitized
Learning Materials for Kindergarten/ Headstart and Learners with Special Educational Needs last
December 28, 2020 at Ruperto’s Inland Resort, Linmansangan, Binalonan, Pangasinan.
The program begun with an opening prayer led by Mr. Jeric M. Gutierrez at exactly
8:30, followed by the singing of the National anthem. Participants exercised their patriotism
by the singing of the local hymns entitled: Pangasinan Hymn and Pangasinan II hymn.
The mood of the conference was left steered and Christmas nostalgic on the checking
of attendance by Mr. Louie Ginez. The different kindergarten coordinators responded with
their own versions of Christmas Carole as Mr. Ginez call on their districts.
It was graced by an opening message from the dynamic, Dr. Marites M. Tabuga, EPS-
in charge of SPED and Kindergarten. Dr. Tabuga also gave thanks to the district supervisors,
school heads and to the teachers who continuously and actively supporting the program
amidst the challenges of COVID-19 pandemic. Her words begin with a grateful message and
reiterated on the importance of planning and with a great vision for every morning is a new
beginning.
As part of the agenda, the Learning Resource for SPED and Kinder designate, Mrs.
Jill Rose Batin checked the submitted outputs on the Google Drive. Entries were coming
from the participants of the Division Training-Workshop on Digitization of Learning
Materials for SPED and Kindergarten on the New Normal. Afterwards, the committee on
selection for best digitized LMs was introduced.

One of the much-anticipated events was the announcement of winners on Best

Digitized Learning Materials. The board spearheaded by Dr. hazel Juralbar announced 4
Video Lesson winners and 6 Interactive LR through MS PowerPoint.
The post-conference, the board/ validators also shared information, provided
feedback, and encouraged the implementers to reflect on the event in order to build the
teacher's capacity on making a quality assured LRs. Outputs on the said event will be
monitored and another revision will be set forward.
 The participants and working committees also received their tokens of appreciation
and had picture opportunity with Dr. Marites M. Tabuga and school heads of different
schools with SPED Program and Kindergarten.
In general, the conduct of Post Conference and Selection of Best Division Digitized
Learning Materials for Kindergarten/ Headstart and Learners with Special Educational Needs
was successful through the supervision of the prime mover of the event, Dr. Marites M.
Tabuga.
