Living our 2019 with Good Habits

extravagant and lavish. It’s not being self-centered too, just
spending time doing the things you love to do alone (free of
self-harm); even just for certain time is taking care of yourself.

Become more observant. The world is full of examples, ideas,

words, wisdoms, arts and experiences to learn from, to be
motivated. It doesn’t necessarily mean you have to absorb all
these by either getting involved or to affect your life thorough-
ly. Getting aware of your surroundings is being sensitive and
being concern to others. This teaches us to be grateful at our
daily life.

Collect ideas and emotions. Gather your thoughts in any cer-

tain time of the day. Your thoughts are important as how you
ideally view the world much as how you want to convert it
into reality. Meanwhile, identifying your emotions/feelings is
important to balance what your mind establishes-without los-

ent from our everyday life in the Philippines. The difference is
very noticeable I tell you. I will start with the good points.
What I like most in staying in Japan is their means of trans-
portation. It is really amazing that traveling is very systematic
and on time that you will never worry about your appointment
schedule or arriving in office on time. Guide maps and land-
marks of nearby places can be found in the bus or train sta-
tion. Next point I admired most is their value of discipline.
Waste segregation is strictly implemented that you have to be
mindful what kind of trash you have (combustible, non-
combustible, recyclable, sharp objects, hazardous), each kind of
trash is to be placed in plastic by color coding and to be dis-
posed-off during the schedule of garbage collection. When eat-
ing in fast food chains and some restaurants, you have to
return the dishes you used and throw trashes like disposable
glass, cups, and etc. in each designated trash bin. In supermar-
kets, you will be responsible in packing the goods you bought
not by the cashier/bagger. Discipline is also very visible in
public places. When crossing the street with traffic lights, you
can see people patiently waiting for the “GO” signal although

son is a celebration of Love, Sharing, Appreciation and Joyfulness. Scan through to reminisce at how we spent this event of gratifi-
cation and full of surprises with lively spirit.

With proper recognition to Christmas Party committee, the night was officially started by a toss initiated by MHPS-TS President, Mr.
Masahiko Mishiro with hopes of more success, having amazing year ahead including good health to everyone.

He Later on presented the Attendance Awards among employees. The Bronze, the Silver and the Gold Attendance Awardees
received certificates and corresponding amount of P10, 000.00, P15, 000.00 and P20, 000.00 respectively.

The attendance Award was topped by Mr. J. Byrone Natividad of I&C / C&E Engineering who spent just a total of 4 Vacation
Leave within the covered year. That leaves us in awe!

Not so long since the party started, attendees filled up their plate with mouth-watering dishes and sweets of their choices. While
the guest band played numerous Christmas songs that entertained everyone to their beat.

One of the most anticipated parts of the gathering was the raffle draw wherein total of 30 raffle prizes was given away. Major 3
prizes were received by the following lucky employees:

Basketball, a sport that showcases unity among its members is one of the achievements; MTS should be thankful and gave recogni-
tion for the year 2018. Members represent their own Division and the company as a whole with hard works and high spirits made it to
MHPS-TS Inter-Department Christmas Basketball 2018 (MBT) and Ortigas Basketball League 2018 (OBL).

The following teams from MBT season 14 were awarded with trophies and cash. Among the 8 played teams LPED MIXED took the 1 st
place; Administration got the 2ndplace while Boiler placed 3rd. It was Mr. Ronald Divina of Layout & Piping Engineering who got the
Finals MVP while King Jimeth Reyes of Administration was chosen as Seasons MVP.

Remember these lines: “We’ve been together through ups and down. I can’t
wait to spend my life with you. Will you spend the rest of your life with me?”
“Will you marry me?” Cyruss Neil Ereso from Administration expressed those
words. We were blown away as much as her girlfriend Joy Angeline Benino
from Administration was. And with that, a surprise wedding proposal was
made before our eyes, in time of celebrating the season of Love.

Overall, the gathering became successful. It was

then MHPS-TS Administration Director, Mr. Makoto
Sato who formally closed the party with a simple
speech and warm holiday greetings.

Lastly, we hope that everyone enjoyed this annual gathering nearly to Christmas day. Take these memories in your heart and mind
to always be grateful to either the simple or grandeur blessings throughout the year that in return we remember to share the good-
ness we received.
