B. Lesson Proper
1. Motivation:

“Remember me”

I will group you into four. Each group member

should go in the front table to turn over two cards
until you find its pair. If they are different, you
have to turn them back over and keep on looking
with another pair. If found that they are the same, (Each group work
the next member will continue to turn another two collaboratively)
cards. The group that can finish the game will
win and have their reward.

2. Unlocking of Difficulties
Pattern – a guide to make it into something
a. What’s your pattern if there is a rain
coming?

a. dark clouds
b. cold air
c. windy

Moisture – a water in a small quantity that

sticks to a surface.

a. Where can you see moisture during

rainy days?

b. Why does your skin need moisture? a. I can see moisture on

the window.
b. This is to prevent
dryness.
3. Presentation
3.1)Today, we will be discussing the
Components of Weather
Weather – it is the daily state of the
atmosphere, or air, in any given place.

Elements of Weather:

Temperature – it is a degree of hotness or

coldness using a thermometer.

Wind – It is the air in motion. The direction

can be measured using a weather vane.
On the other hand, the speed is measured
using an anemometer.

Air Pressure – The weight of Air pressing

on Earth’s Surface and it is measured
using a barometer.

Humidity – is the concentration of water

vapor present in the air. Hygrometer is
used to measure humidity.

3.2)how’s our weather today?

3.3)What’s the pattern of having a sunny

day?

3.4)During a rainy day, is the temperature of

hotness still the same? 3.2) (looking on the
outside) Today is
sunny!
3.5)Have you ever wonder why we feel tired

people do, eat and wear? THE ACTIVITY.
2. During cold, wet and rainy weather,
what do people do, eat and wear?
6. Analysis
6.1) How to know if the temperature is hot or
cold?

6.2) Can we predict the upcoming weather

even without using weather instruments?

rain and storms?

6.2) Sometimes.

6.4) Can animals predict weather?

(someone raising a hand)
6.3) We will stay inside
the house and do not
watch TV.

6.4) Yes ma’am. For

example, the ant builds
a higher mound inside
the house before rain
comes.
