Ns. Niswa : “Good Morning Ns. Dzaky”

Ns. Dzaky : “Morning Ns. Niswa”
Ns. Niswa : “It’s shift transfer, isn’t it?”
Ns. Dzaky : “Yes is it, are you ready to handover?”
Ns. Niswa : “Sure, I’m ready now”
Ns. Dzaky : “Okay, let’s do it now.. There is only patient in room 307. Our patient
today is a woman, her name is Mrs. Azizah.”
Ns. Niswa : “How old is she and what is her problems?”
Ns. Dzaky : “She is 43 years old and she got diabetes. Vital sign result blood
pressure 130/90, pulse rate 82/minute, respiration rate 18/minute and body temperature
370C.”
Ns. Niswa : “What medication for her? And there is any orders for this morning
charge?”
Ns. Dzaky : “Inject her 6 units of insulin at 10.00 a.m. The patient will be taken a
blood sample for laboratory examination at 12.00 a.m. Ok everything is clear. Now lets
check the patient.”
Ns. Niswa : “Okay. Lets do it.”
(In the patient room)
Ns. Dzaky : “Good morning mam. How are you?.”
Mrs. Azizah : “Good morning nurse. I’m fine.”
Ns. Dzaky : “We are doing handover at the moment. Mrs. Azizah this is Ns. Niswa”
Ns. Niswa : “Hello Mrs. Azizah, I’m Ns Niswa the nurse in charge this morning”.
Mrs. Azizah : “Pleased to meet you Ns. Niswa.”
Ns. Dzaky : “Ok....here is the report....check them thoroughly”
Ns. Niswa : “Okay I will do it.. I will make sure all things going fine”.
Ns. Dzaky : “It’s time to go.. Madam, Ns. Niswa will handle everything by now.”
Ns. Niswa : “If you need something just press that call button, okay?”
Mrs. Azizah : “All right thank you”
Ns. Dzaky : “Okay i’m leaving now. Have a good rest. See you later”
Ns. Niswa : “See you.”
