My name is Danik Badra Kusuma Ningtyas I was a nurse in the Hospital of Yogyakarta, I’ve
worked for 1 year, in here I will share about my activities while in Hospital.
I work on the morning shift at 08:00-14:00, I do in the morning is the handover with the duty
nurse on the night shift, handover we did was inform the patients, the action taken on the
patients, and drug given to patients.
I will give the patients a drug called Mrs Endah Novitaningrum, Mrs Endah were patients
with diagnosis hepatitis, Mrs Endah often complain of pain in the abdomen.
Danik : Good morning Mrs Endah !!!
Endah : Good morning nurse.
Danik : Mrs Endah how are you today ?
Endah : Since my stomach pain last night, I found it difficult to sleep nurse
Danik : Do you still feel the pain until now ?
Endah : Yes,,, the night nurse who give me medicine to reduce pain, so I could sleep, but
when I woke up this morning pain reappears !!!
Danik : If I may know from 0-10 in number what level of pain you feel ?
Endah : Maybe in point 6 nurse.
Danik : Okay Mrs, I’II give you warm compresses to reduce pain in your stomach
Endah : Ok nurse
Danik : Okay Mrs, I’II be back in 5 minutes, to take a compress for you.
Endah : Ok nurse, Thanks
Danik : You’re welcome
(nurse back to Nurse Station to take warm compress, and after 5 minutes, nurse come back to
Endah’s room)
Danik : Excusme Mrs Endah.
Endah : Yes nurse
Danik : I give compress to the abdomen, so that the pain can be recuded
Endah : Yes nurse, Thank you
Danik : You’re welcome, I will be back at 12:00 am to deliver lunch and if you need
assistance, you can press the red button on your right hand

Endah : Ok nurse
Danik : Thank you and take a rest Mrs Endah
Endah : You’re welcome nurse
Nurse Danik back to the Nurse Station to Documentation, nurse have been given a warm
compress on the patient Endah at 09:00 am on Thursday,29 March 2017, to reduce pain in the
patient’s stomach, .
Then at noon the nurse returned handover to a nurse who will watch the afternoon shift.
Maybe it was the activities I did while working, so the story of us Thank you.
