PLATE NO.

TITLE: GEOMETRICAL DESIGN

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

The PLATE aims for the students to:

1. draw the combinations of parallel lines, arcs and circles.

2. enhance their drawing skills using the compass.
3. sharpen their freehand ability as the most essential part in depicting
geometrical figures in case computers are not available.

MATERIALS:

1 – compass
1- technical pen (0.2)
1- triangle sets (30-60 and 45-45)
1- T-square

PROCEDURE:

1. Set up the compass and measure the desired radius of the arcs and circles
that would fit the sets of geometrical figures shown on the next page in your
drawing sheet.
2. Sketch the figures shown in plate no.6 and divide the spaces between at your
desired length as long as it would look presentable and clean.

Note: There is no standard measurement on this drawing simply make sure that
your drawing covers 80% of the template.
