Assumptions
1. Key RSRTC stakeholders to be made available during requirements phase and sign off of SRS/FRD.
2. NthDimenzion to be responsible only for development of software related to PIS, Fuel Monitoring and VTS
besides any integrations with hardware that would be required thereof i.e GPS, Fuel Sensor etc.
3. There is a requirements phase planned in both phases to ensure that the software required by client is
clearly articulated and signed off before the development commences.
4. Any travel/boarding expenses of consultants during the installation / commissioning process across
different units will be at actuals charged on accrual basis.
5. It is assumed that reservation system already exposes programming interfaces for integration with new
software systems being developed.
6. All routes and location map details required as part of the software to be developed should be provided
by client.
7. Hindi Screen Content for all software to be provided during the requirements phase in both Phases.
8. The software will be built using Java /mySQL on appropriate open source application servers. Adequate
clustering mechanisms would be provided as part of deployment guide and NthDimenzion would help
setup the environments once procured by RSRTC.

9. Detailed project plan for each Phase ( I & II) would be provided on completion of requirements for each
phase as this will enable a more realistic projection of timelines. NthDimenzion will ensure that overall
goal for Phase I and II will be maintained.

Inclusions
1. NthDimenzion to provide a development plan for deployment for TEST and PRODUCTION environments.
This would be for all software applications to be deployed as per Scope mentioned.
2. Appropriate deployment configurations would be recommended for PRODUCTION and TEST
environments.
3. NthDimenzion to help setup the environments (servers, databases etc) related to the software
components only.
4. Integration with Online Reservation System, Automatic Fare Collection System and Vehicle Scheduling
System.
5. Training on the software in terms of its use and maintenance/support of the software is included.
NthDimenzion would recommend 2 week training for all key users in a single location to enable optimal
training. All key users and power users should be trained in this period and can then become trainers to
subsequent users of the system.

Exclusions
1. No hardware procurement i.e servers, LED/LCD etc.
2. No procurement or contracts for UPS, Internet Connectivity, Infrastructure Setup, CCTV etc.
3. Post deployment support and operations are not planned / estimated in this proposal. The proposal is
limited to design and build and training to manage the software. If this is required then this will need to
be estimated separately.
4. No changes to existing software already developed/deployed and no customizations on reservation
system for integration to new systems being developed.
5. Post commissioning operations and support cost is not planned. NthDimenzion would provide user
manuals/guides to manage and support all the software as part of the design and build process itself.
6. Installation / Commissioning and setup for all network, hardware, infrastructure etc for TEST /
PRODUCTION environment are not planned by NthDimenzion.
7. Integration to any other systems other than the ones mentioned above is not included in this proposal.

High Level Scope

The scope has been derived from the tender document. This would need to be detailed out further in the form of a
functional requirements document as part of Requirements Gathering phase in both Phases I and II. RSRTC team
should be made available to collaborate and compile this document.

2. Passenger Information System.
3. Fuel / Mileage Management System.
4. Integration with Online Reservation System, Automatic Fare Collection System and Vehicle Schedule
System.
5. MIS Reports.
6. All core requirements as mentioned in Section 5 of the tender document specifically related to software
components i.e 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5 and 5.7.

2. Payment Terms & Other Conditions

a. Invoice would be raised immediately on completion of Phase Point and its deliverable/milestone
acceptance by client.
b. All taxes applicable are excluded from the above commercials.
c. Payment to be made within 15 days from the date invoice is raised.
d. All travel, boarding and lodging expenses for NthDimenzion related to this project (for travel
outside of Bangalore) will be charged extra at actuals.
