An advertisement is a picture, short film, song, etc. which tries to persuade people to buy a
product or service or join in an event.
There are four important strategic question in any advertisement
1. What products will be offered ?
2. Who will be the target customers ?
3. How will the products reach them ?
4. At what price should the product, services, or event be offered ?
The language in advertising should be
1. Evocative (mudah diingat)
2. Informative (memberikan informasi)
3. Persuasive (meyakinkan)
4. Powerful language (Bahasa yang kuat)
5. Easily understood by the consumer (mudah difahami)
6. Simple with clear pronunciation (pengucapan mudah dan jelas)
7. Active sentences, not passive sentences
8. Solid and strong language
9. Positive language, not, negative language

Purpose of Advertisement text

in other words to introduce a product to the public in order to buy and attracted to the product
