ABSTRACT

People in the Philippines has many products used and enjoy, they have their product
they trust so we thought of a product that is brand new and unique that they will
definitely enjoy when they taste it. We decided to make a candies, chocolates, and
biscuit that we named Chocs to go Blissful Treat when you taste these products it will
definitely brighten your day because of its unique taste compared to the products we
often taste. We assure our consumers that they can afford it because of its cheap price
and they will be happy in a small way.

INTRODUCTION

Chocs to go Blissful treats not just one but three types of product are sold. The main
ingredient of each of these products is known in the Philippines as Kakaw or Cocoa. We
used it to show people that the Philippines have one of the most Cocoa plants in other
country. Because of this, people in our country will have an interest in enjoying our
product because cocoa is one of the crops in our country and they will definitely come
back until they get to know it because of its good and unique workmanship. This product
that the researcher sale will have good effect to customer's because it has a benefits to
make them active and happy because of the ingredients used. Chocs to go Blissful
treats can fulfill children's wants because they can choose one of our products to
purchase because we have three products to sell.

In Chocs to go, We are intending to provide our customer needs on our affordable
nutritious local product to reflect the good quality. And to propagate our local product in
different countries.

CHAPTER 1

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY


Our business named Chocs to go Blissful treats,there are three different products that

we sell but Cocoa is the main ingredients that we used to our products.Recent studies

have emphasized the positive effects of chocolate on our health.The raw material of

chocolate is cocoa seeds produced by drying and fermenting the fruit of the cacao tree.

The cocoa seeds in chocolate contains lipids,fibers,minerals,polyphenols,and antioxidants.

The lipid found in the composition of cocoa are stearic and falmitic fatty acids and oleic fatty acids.In
portions corresponding to 100 kcal,dark chocolate with 70%-85% cacao contents 1.7g

fiber,while semi sweet and milk chocolate contains 1.2g and 0.6g fiber,respectively.

The majority Of the fiber cocoa is insoluble.Cocoa seeds contain the mineral
magnesium,copper,potassium

and calcium.Cocoa is rich in flavonoids such as catechin,epecatechin,and procyanidins and has

high antioxidant properties.The literature indicates the dark chocolate,milk chocolate,and white
Chocolate should contain atleast 18% cocoa butter,14% non fat cocoa solids and 35% total cocoa solid
and 35% total cocoa solids 2.5% non fat cocoa solid and 25% total cocoa solids

and 20% cocoa butters and 14% milk solids respectively.Other studies indicated that the psychoactive
effect of methylxantine or flavonols in cocoa improved cognitive function and

mitigated mental fatigue.In addition,the polyphenols in chocolate protects cell membranes

Against free radicals.

The proponents have adapted this type of business because this business is suitable for the area where
we are located. This business also does not have much competition because this product is rarely sold
here. previous products.

A. Busines Condition
We make sure that our product is healthier than the other chocolate because it is made from
cocoa and cocoa is one of the richest source of polyphenols. We made some twist that everyone will
definitely come back until they get to know it because of it's unique workmanship.
"Chocs to go Blissful Treats" is bake by the semi automatic chocolate molding machine, It can be
used to make simple chocolate bars and chocolate pralines with a soft filling content of up to30%;
however, if we utilize servo motors instead of pneumatic cylinders to control the chocolate pouring
system, the filling content can approach 50%. Where necessary, each piston inside the dispensing
system can be individually adjusted. Water is heated by an electric element and circulated by a water
pump inside the hopper's jacket.

The Chocs to go Blissful Treats is a type of a business under the chocolate industry because Chocs to
go has a unique taste than the common product that we buy. What makes it more appealing to the market is
the fact that the chocolate industry continues to grow and succeed. The business decided to innovate chocolate
and sell this products not only to earn money the company`s main goal or objective but also to become the most
popular and trusted chocolate store that provides high quality and affordable price throughout the Philippines.
The overview role of the business is to innovate the cocoa in be trends again, especially those teens are too
concern about chocolate trends so that they spend money for chocolate. As the business offers different types
of chocolate , all men,women and teens can avail now their desire or favourite chocolate at a low price but the
quality is still there. In the near future business provides now unique chocolate not only in the Philippines but
for the whole world. Men,women and teens among those countries would be witness of the business success.

Pasig City has an estimated population of 803,159 people, according to the Philippines' population
census. With thus many people, we anticipate that our goods will be readily available to those who live
near our business. We are still in the early stages of our business; thus, we expect at least 100 people each
day to purchase our product, , Chocs to go Blissful Treats in St. and Pinagbutan., Pasig.

The target market of Chocs to go Blissful Treats are those people whom age from
adolescence to adulthood, they are that kind of people have big concern about deliciousness
of chocolate. Most of us cannot afford expensive chocolate or expend more money for
chocolates so that Chocs to go Blissful Treats offers affordable chocolates aside from that the
business assure that even if the products are made from cocoa, it is safe for the customers.

promoting a business, we chose to promote our product on social media so that as many
people as possible may see it, especially those buyers who live far away from our Pasig
location.

Cause and Charity Promotion

Every year, our small business will hold a fundraising campaign for the chosen charity. We
will assist not only as fundraisers, but also as product buyers, because our campaign aims to
assist those in need who are served by the charity. 100% of the proceeds from the fundraising
campaign will be donated to the charity. As a small business owner, this is one of the goals
we set for ourselves.

Because our tiny firm is not yet well-known in the market, we decided to create some of our
product and offer it to others to try. We will collect all of their feedback about their

A. Contribution to the Economy


Trends about chocolate rapidly change everyday it seems like one
flip oy your eyes, because of it chocolate is one of the important industry that
help's a country economy grow more. As the business align with chocolate
industry, it’s really help the Philippine economy. In the Philippines cocoa is one of
the livelihood of many Filipino because the availability of the materials needed in
this field, therefore more businessman prefer to build a business aline with
chocolate industry.

B. Employment Generation
The Chocs to go Blissful Treats will hire employees if they are capable of
thatposition. The candidate for every position will go through the process step
bystep, to make sure that our business will hire the best candidate that we
arelooking for and will help our business to grow.

The process step by step of hiring new employees will evaluate the
jobresponsibilities, qualifications, screen the resumes, interviews, review
theresume, and lastly we will make sure that we are hiring the best
candidateapplicant in every position.

C. Environmental Conservation
The chocolate industry is one of the major polluting industry in the
world. The aim of the study was to assess the net environment benefits brought
by the innovation of chocolate through renewing and making a new chocolate
that the business can make it unique, That chocs to go Blissful Treats go back to
the original and natural ways of farming, by planting within the natural tree-cover
and without cutting down existing trees. Planting trees, especially fruit filled trees
around and within the plantation, helps with growth of Cacao plants. These trees
can provide shade to the Cacao plants and be a source of oxygen replenishment
to the environment. Additionally, planting cacao under taller trees protects the
more fragile cacao from direct sunlight, Another benefit of such companion
planting is the increase in potential habitats for birds and insects.
