Pros & Cons

•Today I’m going to speak about the pros and cons of the
public and private education in Spain:
• First, I’m going to talk about the pros of the public
education:
- It is “free”: I mean you just need to pay for the books.
- The government would pay attention to the needs of
the education center.
- They evaluate you for your effort and your intelligence.
• And now the cons:
- Older and less preserved installations.
- You don’t have the freedom to choose which subject
you prefer to study, for example in some private schools
at the beginning of the ESO you can choose if you prefer
more the math or the language.
- Damaged school material.
- People think that it is a worse education for their
children.
• Secondly, I’m going to write about the pros of the
private education:
- More modern school material: in some schools they use
IPads instead of books.
- Better installation: in most schools hey have swimming
pools.
- Better academic results: It is said that the average of
passed people is greater in the private schools.

• And finally the cons:

- You need to pay large quantities of money every month.
- You need to wear an uniform: for mums this can be an
advantage but for the pupils it isn’t.
- You have extra hours in the afternoon.
- In some schools and high schools the teachers pass the
student only because they are paying: I mean there were
some cases in which some students passed with a mark
that in a public school wouldn’t be enough.
