CHAPTER ONE - INTRODUCTION

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
More on introduction sa problem niyo.. Then Oregano because?? State the herbal
benefits ng oregano.. relate niyo sya sa statement of the problem niyo.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
This study will focus on the effectiveness and efficacy of the Oregano’s _____ as an
insect repellent. The researchers aim to answer these problems with this research:
1. (State your problems..) Example - What would be the effect of the Oregano (part
to be used) as a n insect repellent to its consumers? What makes an Oregano as
insect repellent, based on its chemical components? Is the effect of the Oregano
the same according to age group? How long does it last?
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
The study will be conducted to determine the effectiveness and efficacy of the
Oregano’s (leaves, bark, stem, roots) as an insect repellent and would be very beneficial and
substantial to the following:
Children
(define why is it significant or important to them)
Teenagers and Adults
(define why)
Other Researchers
The result of this study will benefit the team, in which, it will serve as their
reference if they will conduct studies related to this topic. In addition, for those who wants
to improve the study and could provide better findings.

SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

The researchers will be extracting the Oregano oil from its (roots?? Leaves?? Stem??
-Dapat specific kayo). This research will be conducted to randomly selected individuals……..
