The Float Shoe (FS) is made up as
the first component in a liner assem-
bly. The tool features an insert dart-
type poppet valve with elastomer
seals cemented into the housing, and
includes a standard cement nose,
with a bladed bottom available by
special order. All internal parts are
PDC drillable.
The Guide Shoe (GS) aids in
running liners by providing a
purpose-built guide in place of
an open ended liner joint, and are
run on screened or slotted liners
in place of a float shoe. A cement
nose is standard, with bladed
bottoms available by special order.

closed by the wiper plug following
the second stage cement. The inner
sleeve is held in this position by a
ratchet-type lock ring and pressure
