Reflective Essay 2
1. How will you describe your Physical Activeness during Christmas
vacation? And what are your goals for the year 2021? (100 words).

Holidays are just the best days we’ve been waiting for. It’s the day were we take a rest and just seize
every moments we have with our dearest family.

Personally, I would say that compared to 2019, I was more active and way better than my 2020’s
Christmas celebration, maybe because of the virus or perhaps since we’re all quarantined it gives less
thrill since other relatives can’t join us.

This year’s Christmas celebration, if I would describe my physical activeness I would say that I was a
bit inactive and lazy. I wasn’t able to attend night masses just like what I’ve been doing for years, I just
can’t feel going out and I’m feeling unmotivated, I don’t know. In addition to that, I also stopped
working out and going to the gym due to school works and pending tasks. So to sum it up, I was
unproductive the whole Christmas celebration but I am glad that we still had the chance to celebrate
and feel the presence of it.

Moving on to my goals for this year, I actually listed not that much for I learned a lot of things in
2020. I just want to appreciate small details of life even more. That I would still feel blessed this year
regardless the amount of blessing my family’s receiving. I want to be more appreciative. Next, I want to
stop being indecisive and start believing my instincts. I tend to overthink about myself most of the time
that I ended up stressing small things due to small reasons. I want to take care more about my mental
health this year. Moreover, I’m starting a social media detox. I want to unwind since it caused me too
much insecurities about myself and I just wanted to refocus on my own this year, take a break and heal.
Lastly, I want to be more active at working out. Hopefully, after hell month, I would be able to go back to
gym abut as of now I am glad that in this subject we are doing workouts.
2. Think about the positive impact of the pandemic, what do you think the
lockdown, curfew, etc., helped you. (100 Words).
Despite all the issues and negative words spreading around the world now, I am still trying to look at
the silver lining of life. That this pandemic made us realize to appreciate the life we have. We have no
idea when we’ll be able to meet and see our loved ones. The next thing that this pandemic brought us is
the idea of solitude. Sometimes, we tend to be dependent and rely on others. Pandemic thought as that
sometimes, we have nothing but ourselves. That yourself is the only thing you can count on so take care
of your mental health and just divert all your attention to love and give love to that solitude you have.

Lastly, pandemic made us realize that we all have our limits. We used to be so careless and
impulsive but now that pandemic was here, we are all locked down and made us connected with our
family that sometimes due to our impulsiveness we tend to forget to bond with our family because we
thought life is in the outside world.

3. What do you think of the fitness challenge you chose for your finals. Cite
some of your expectations about it. (80 words)
I personally, choose One Punch Man Challenge. Plus factor because I am a huge fan of Saitama and
the series itself plus I did some research about the challenge and I saw great improvements about them
and I want to try it on myself.
I am expecting to see at least an improvement with my legs and core sections because I am not a fan
of squats and leg workouts so I really expecting more with this section. Moreover, I also expected that it
would never be easy for me to do it on a daily basis because aside from classes and other tasks, I am also
working in our store but still, I am trying my very best since I love working out.
