Tuesday, February 16th

Debate Club- will meet at 3:45pm. Participating in debate gives students an improved perspective on the
world around them. You’ll learn about important issues in politics, public policy, philosophy and gain a
better appreciation for the diverse perspectives that make up the public sphere. Everyone has opinions. Join

Autism Awareness Club-` will meet from 3:30-4:00pm. The club is open to all students, if you would like to

Wednesday, February 17th

French Club- Mardi Gras week. The French Club will celebrate by decorating masks at 3:30pm. If you
would like to participate, stop by the school and pick up a mask decorating kit from the Welcome Desk!

Students- Tired of being stuck at home? Dreaming of traveling to France? Well, Covid isn’t going to last
forever and we’re making plans to travel to Paris and Provence in June of 2022! Come to the informational
meeting on Tuesday, February 23rd at 6:00pm. We’ll go over all of the details of our intinerary, safety, and

SPRING PLAY

The play is Game of Tiaras, a mash-up of Game of Thrones and King Lear, with Disney-
style princesses and lots of henchmen. The play will be presented live on Zoom on

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

Senior Presentation- Hey Seniors, It’s not too late to complete your senior presentation early by doing an
Early-Bird Presentation! There’s still plenty of room on March 17th. If you are interested, please locate the
March 17, 2021 Early-Bird Presentation. As of right now, we aren’t accepting new sign-ups for March 3rd, but
there’s still plenty of room on March 17th. If you are interested, please locate the “March 17, 2021 Early-Bird
Senior Presentations” survey in the Class of 2021 Knight Skills Google Classroom or in the Senior Presentations
Prep Google Classroom for Running Start students.

PSNS Work Study Program- Sophomores & Juniors – you are invited to the PSNS Work Study Program
information meeting on Wednesday, February 17th. Students who are accepted will work at PSNS this
summer and then return to PSNS the second semester of senior year, with an opportunity to be hired full-time
upon high school graduation. In order to attend, simply add your name to the Google Form posted in the
Sophomore and Junior Knight Skills Google Classrooms.

SAT Test- BHS will be offering the SAT Test on April 27th. This is the “real” SAT and will be offered in
person. The regular cost is $52.00 and the cost for Juniors and Seniors on Free/Reduced lunch is $8.00. We
have limited capacity so, it is recommended that you sign up as soon as possible. There are two ways to sign
up:
1. Call Ms. McClelland at (360)473-0806 and make payment with a credit card.
2. Complete the attached form and turn in at the Welcome Desk with your payment.

ASVAB- Hey BHS students, if you are interested in taking the ASVAB this Spring, we are offering it on
Wednesday, April 28th. There will be a morning and an afternoon session with a maximum of 30 students per
session. Seniors will have priority, but Sophomores and Juniors are also able to sign up. If you would like to
take the ASVAB, the google form to sign up can be found in the Military Careers Google Classroom code:
iphlox6 or in the Knight Skills Google Classroom for Seniors, Juniors and Sophomores.
