Virtual Instruction
Our first official week of Zoom Classes, is right
around the corner (September 14th, 2020). Below you
will find the Zooming schedule for each subject and
day. Your child will use the same Zoom link and
password every time he/she enters my Zoom
Classroom.
Reading/Writing: Mon. & Wed… 10:00-11:00 am
Math: Mon. & Wed… 12:00-1:00 pm
Intervention/Enrichment: Mon. & Wed… 2:00-3:00 pm
Intervention/Enrichment: Thurs. 10:00-11:00 am
Science: Thursdays… 12:00-1:00 pm
Social Studies: Thursdays… 2:00-3:00 pm

Miscellaneous
If you have not already, please download the Bloomz app and
join our classroom using the following code: JDGMM5. This will
be my primary way of communicating with parents during
virtual instruction. It has a many great features including private
messaging , which allows you to contact me at any time, just like
texting.
I also have a classroom website. If you get a chance please

here.
Finally, if your child needs a Chromebook for virtual
instruction, please let me or the office know ASAP!

Google Classroom
Like in the spring, we will, again, be using Google
Classroom to get assignments out to the students during
virtual instruction. I have our Google Classrooms set up by
subjects. Students will be able to join my Google Homeroom
at any point before their scheduled On-Boarding day using
this code: ukyymna. Once in the homeroom, the children
will be given access codes to the other subject area classes. I
will have activities posted for your child to work on during
the On-Boarding week when not in class.
Upcoming Events
Students will be coming to school for one day
during the week of September 8th. This week will
be our “On-Boarding” week. What this means is; on
your child’s scheduled day, we will be passing out
materials, setting students up in their Google
Classrooms, and completing some assessments.
This day will be a full day, 8:40-3:40, As a result,
your child will need to bring his/her face mask, a
small snack, and a water bottle. (drinking fountains
have been turned off due to Covid) Breakfast and
lunch will also be available on each day.
Below is the On-Boarding Day Schedule.
Students have been assigned, by last name, to come
on one of the following four days. If you have any
questions or concerns regarding the schedule,
please do not hesitate to reach out so that we can
best support you and your child throughout this
new adventure.
• Tuesday, September 8th: Students A-D
• Wednesday, September 9th: Students E-K
• Thursday, September 10th: Students L-R
• Friday, September 11th: Students S-Z
