Don’t forget, you can earn additional points for your class by sending in a photo of yourself
dressed up in the Spirit Theme.

ASB is holding a TikTok challenge! Send a short, original, school-appropriate video to the
Bremerton ASB Instagram and the Google Form. We will review the videos and the top videos
will be featured during the Pep Assembly! Every video your class turns in earns points for
your class in the class competition. Each student can submit a maximum of 5 videos (one per
day), so make yours count! Videos must be turned in by Today, December 14th.

On Wednesday, December 16th immediately following Knight Skills is our Winter Pep Assembly.
The Pep Assembly will feature performances by the band and choir, the winning TikTok videos
and an awesome Winter Kahoot. You’ll have the opportunity to win some prizes by attending.
Register for the pep assembly to receive the link to join the Zoom. The link is in your Knight
Skills Classroom.

WINTER BREAK MEAL PRE-ORDER

WINTER BREAK: 12/21/2020 – 1/1/2021
Pre-Order at www.BremertonSchools.org/Meals
During winter break, school meals will not be available for pick-up or bus delivery.
However, meals will be available by pre-order only. Meals must be pre-ordered by
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16th.
Families can order a 5- or 10-day meal pack per child (meal packs include both breakfast and
lunch). Meals will be provided for pick-up at Mountain View Middle School on DECEMBER 18th
between 1:00-3:00pm only. Meals are available for any child age 18 or younger. (Up to age
21 if enrolled in BSD).Children do not need to be present during meal pick-up.
COUNSELING DEPARTMENT
Students, the counseling office is offering some rescheduled virtual college visits. Whether
you missed the first presentation or are hearing about these for the first time, now is a great
time to sign up! All virtual presentations will be from 10:00am to 10:45am. All grades are
welcome! Please sign up by joining the 4-Year College Prep Google Classroom (code:
kmhhq3k) and putting your name on the “Fall 2020 Virtual College Visits” spreadsheet.

PSAT/NMSQT
The Preliminary SAT test is scheduled to be given in person at BHS on Tuesday, January 26th. We have
limited capacity and sign-ups will occur as follows:
Juniors can sign up by one of three ways:
1. Call Ms. McClelland in the Main Office and pay the $18.00 fee with a credit card
2. Bring a check for $18.00 in person to welcome/security desk next to the kitchen entrance
on Ohio Street
3. Juniors who qualify for free or reduced lunch can email Mr. Swanson at:
chris.swanson@bremertonschools.org to sign up for free

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
**Washington State Opportunity Scholarship opens soon! The Baccalaureate Scholarship
offers up to $22,500 for Scholars pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a high-demand STEM or
health care field. BaS 2021-2022 application period: December 7, 2020 to February 11,
