The course covers the study of history of punishment from past to present, theories and philosophies. The management and operation of all institution and community based
correction. The correctional system of the Philippines under the three distinct and separate departments of the national government; Department of Interior and Local Government,
Department of Social and Welfare Development and Department of Justice.
