Etsy Product Description Templates

Strategy:
We want to sell the FEELING the perfect customer wants to have when
they buy (and wear, or use, or hang, etc) your products. We want to
describe less about the shirt (materials, design, colors) and more about
how the customer feels when they wear it.

This is a psychological sales strategy that accomplishes two things. First,

the customer agrees with the statements you’re making - putting them on
your side (the brand’s side). Getting a potential customer to agree with you
is the first step to getting them to purchase from you.

Second, we get them thinking about that perfect feeling they’ll have once
they buy your product. We are selling the amazing feelings and pride the
customer will have when wearing, or using, our product.

We will break the template down into 3 specific portions: Story, Scarcity,
Details.

See how they tell an actual story of how the customer will feel…

It’s not about the design on the shirt, but rather the story that is being told
about how the customer will feel when they buy it and wear it.
