1. Write few reasons for the animals to move.

Ans. Animals move from one place to another in search of food, water, warmth, for
fun and also to protect themselves from the enemies.

2. What body parts help a kangaroo and a frog jump for long distances?

Ans. Kangaroos and frogs have hind legs that are much longer than their forelegs.
These long hind legs help them jump long distances.

3. What body parts help koalas climb trees?

Ans. The sharp, curved claws and rough pads on the hands and feet help koalas
climb trees.

4. Langurs do not have claws, so how do they climb trees?

Ans. Langurs use their hands with long fingers to climb trees and to hold the
branches. They can hold the branches even with their long tails.

5. Which is this animal? How does it move?

Ans. This is a flying fish. It does not fly like a bird but
it uses its wing- like fins to leap out of water and glide
over long distances.
