AN ESSAY ABOUT MYSELF

I am Anis Belkahla, an engineer having several years of corporate as well as consulting

expertise in the field of digital industry. I completed my diploma in computer engineering from
the University of Sciences of Tunis in 2009 and joined in SAGEMCOM as a digital TV developer
engineer. Later I served NDS as STB integration engineer and NETGEM as product integration
leader for couple of years. Apart from the job, I also completed professional assignments and
personal projects for various clients across Sri-lanka, Poland, Ireland, Denmark and Hungary and
Africa. From corporate experiences and freelance projects, I gained extensive technical skills on
digital marketing, programing language, web development, data base, tracking tools as well as
configuration management.

I have entrepreneurial attitude and risk taking mindset who loves challenges since early
career. With a view to diversifying the experience portfolio and gaining more career prospect, I
drafted a plan to establish own consulting business. As a part of the strategy, I took professional
training and certificate on project management skills from the PMI Institute, USA in 2015. I left
my job at NETGEM to focus on consultancy business regarding digital transformation and digital
marketing strategy in the same year.

Despite of being an amateur in the field of consultancy, I was successful in the new
venture through extensive networking as well as professional experience and got ‘ORANGE
FRANCE’ as first client in 2015. I worked with them for two years and gained variety of practical
expertise on digital strategy, project management and technical skills. Later I served FRANCE
TELEVISION, LOUIS VUITTON and MSD FRANCE and successfully managed to earn revenues.

I am planning to pursue an MBA which I believe will give me the theoretical knowledge
in different fields of business-from financing and management to design and market research.
This knowledge will give a holistic understanding of how business management works while
doing freelance consultancy. An MBA from a reputed institution like yours will add value to the
start-up business through learning of leadership, effective networking, problem-solving,
strategy building, as well as management of clients. After finishing my MBA, I have a vision of
taking my freelance consulting business to the next level and create as a brand by relentless
client support, substantial technical expertise and integrating the academic knowledge
achieved from the MBA program.
