The amount of interest users in Indonesia has increase every year, from children until adult
people was not to compete for access to it. Especialy with the presence of applications that
are very entertaining start of the game until social media are access a variety of sites can be
done easily. Related this phenomena will be no impact that would occur on the user can be
positive and can be also negative. Here are some of the positive and negative impacts of
internet usage for children :

Possitive impact :

1. Be a Learning For Children

Easy to accessing a variety of information this is what being a child is easier to learn,
especially in working on school assignments.
2. Sensitivity With Progress Of Technology
We are so close to the outside world when we access the internet so we know a wide
variety of technology developement in the country and foreign country.
3. Searching For Many Information

information can be a variety of articles for knowledge that we may not get in school,
this is what makes our knowledge more widely.

In this subject, children will increasingly socialitation in social media to know
everyone in the world.

Negative impact :

1. Addiction
One of the effect is children can spend hours to play the internet because of the many
applications and games that can be accessed.
2. Be Plagiarism
With easily access the internet then it will make the children more inclined to quote
any task or work, so make the children become lazy to thinking or be creative.
3. Possible To Open Negative Content
Without realizing all sorts of sites can be opened on the internet, is worried children
will open the negative content or pornography sites.
4. Less Interaction In The Real World
Too long using internet will make people dont care about things around, because too
happy with internet, it will even make child inclined prefer to be alone.
 5. Wrong Friend
In the virtual world we will be a lot of communicatng with people who we dont know,
especially on social media. And they also dont know the age and background of the
virtual friend. The worried because it is too intense sociable in social media with not
age will bring a bad influence because of differences in age and patterns of thinking,
already a lot of the fraud occured againstchildren under the age of up taken away by a
virtual friends.

From the summary above, it will certainly be a polemic if negative impacts are achieved, but
does not close the possibility would be an achievement if a child can utilize the internet
wisely of course with guidance of parents.

It is the duty of parents to always provide an understanding impact of the negative use
internet is wrong and also give enough time to use the internet and of course in supervision.
