(b) Describe briefly the guiding principle for the graphic presentation of the data.

(b) Explain role of computer in research.
6. (a) Explain the significance of a research report and narrate the various steps
involved in writing such a report.
(b) Describe, in brief, the layout of a research report, covering all relevant points.
7. (a) Mention the different types of report, particularly pointing out the difference
between a technical report and a popular report.
(b) Explain Genetic Algorithm.

8. Obtain the equations of the two lines of regressions for the following data:

Hence obtain the value of the correlation coefficient between X and Y.
