Joe Biden Officially Becomes President-Elect of the United

States

Recently held United States presidential elections have selected Joe Biden
as elected president and Kamala Harris as elected vice president. Besides Harris
being the first woman to become vice president in US history, Biden also made
history. He will be the oldest elected president of the United States in US history
and will become the 46th US president.

Based on the acquisition data presented by The Associated (Saturday,

7/11/2020), Joe Biden-Kamala Harris led the way with an electoral vote of 290
after winning the vote in Pennsylvania. From the state of Pennsylvania, Biden
received 20 electoral votes and was enough to secure his vote. Biden pocketed
273 votes, exceeding the minimum of 270 votes needed to win the US Presidential
election.

Meanwhile Donald Trump only won 214 electoral votes, according to

Edison Research data. A Trump adviser admits Trump's chances are running low,
but Trump is not ready to admit defeat.

The President and Vice President-elect of the United States will only be
formally appointed to serve as President and Vice President of the US in January
2021. Based on the official website of the US Government, the inauguration will
take place on January 20, 2021. This schedule is based on the current flow in the
US. In a 4-year period, an elected President and Vice President will be sworn in
on January 20 or January 21, if the 20th coincides with Sunday. The inauguration
procession is planned by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural
Ceremonies (JCCIC). In the inauguration, the President-elect will deliver a speech
after taking the oath of office and after being officially inaugurated, they will start
