    MILLING MACHINE

    TITLE

    I. Introduction
    Milling machine are tools designed to machine metal, wood, and other
    solid materials. Often automated, milling machines can be positioned in
    either vertical or horizontal orientation to carve out materials based on
    pre-existing design.

    II. Objectives

    At the end of the activity the student should be able to:

    1. To search and be familiar of the parts and functions of the


    milling machine.
    2. To see how milling machine works.
    3. Able to have knowledge of its uses.
    Conclusion:

    Therefore I conclude that using this equipment to fabricate small scale


    parts can provide flexibility and effeciency in manufacturing approaches. On the
    other hand, for milling it is important to properly secure the work piece as the
    work piece can move otherwise. Excessive feeds and cutting speeds are
    dangerouse during milling. It can possibly injure the operator. Milling machine can
    provide multi function in engineering works such as cutting, drilling, grinding and
    curving. More importantly having this knowledge will improve my ideas in milling
    works.
