Purposes of the course
 To understand the role of operations management in the overall
business strategy of organization.
 To identify and explain how operations manager make decisions
which are related to operations management, such as: Product
design, location planning, scheduling, inventory management, etc.
 To understand how operations management related to other
functional areas in an organization such as: marketing, finance
/accounting and personnel
