Dear Mr. Golez;

Greetings of love!

For almost a year now, the country has been put under the community quarantine. Not only the
pandemic, but a lot of things happened that triggered anxiety, feelings of discomfort, and
hopelessness. However, as Filipinos, we strived to survive. Not only because we need, but we
wanted because of a number of inspiration that touched our hearts.

February, being the month of love, is the most perfect time when Ilonggos can talk about these
and be inspired more by the different stories, definitions, and acts of loving.

With the hope of spreading stories and experiences to prove that indeed, love, even amidst the
pandemic, conquers in the City of Iloilo, our office is organizing the “Love In A Pandemic.”

In line with this, Councilor Love Baronda invites you and your organization to partner with us on
this endeavor. You may recommend a member/s of your organization to any of the following
activities:

1. A 1-hour Online Talk Show featuring different advocates and leaders talking about their
personal definitions of love and their acts of loving on three selected Fridays of February
2021;
2. A campaign to post and comment acts of loving within the 28 days of February; and
3. A daily dose of Love Poems by Local Poets online.

Please confirm partnership on or before February 6, 2021.

I personally believe that love is intersectional. It is a multi-dimensional concept that binds us

together and motivates us to keep going and sincere. As what my favorite verse states, “Do
everything in love.”

May love continue to thrive.
