Brochures, leaflets, banners, and pamphlets have a similar function that is to
promote something to the public.

Structure:

1.      Aim/purpose/objective of the text.

2.      Detailed information about the thing promoted.

The following are what we should know to make brochures, leaflets, banners,
and pamphlets.

-       Know the topic. You must know the key points your reader must have in
order to understand your message. For example:

Topic        : Having fun at the park.

Contents   : Fun games to play and information on any park facilities.

-       Plan carefully. Use a rough draft on folded paper first. The rough draft
can be used to help work the layout and organization,

-       Put a brief and informative title. Try to catch the reader's attention and
invite them to read more.

-       Give an overview. It is a brief but clear opening. It states clearly the

objective. The introduction should be concise and creative. If necessary, use
bullet points to keep your objective from having too much text.

-       Make the text easily readable. Use simple and short paragraphs. Use also
clear font.
