My Own political thought

Studying different political thoughts of our philosophers such as Rizal, Mabini,

Quezon, Marcos, Ninoy and many other famous Filipino thinkers made me realize my
own unique combination of their thoughts. It would be simple yet, I think, would be
applicable to the Filipinos. It will evolve upon strengthening of our own Filipino identity,
opening our economy to free trade and world market, capitalizing in our human
resources through the establishment of trainings schools, promoting a strong
government through reorganization of the system, headed by a single party, a strict
inject of discipline in every filipinos that will be taught from school, and especially,
strengthening the role of the youth for the future generations, making them globally
competitive and adaptable to change.

Strengthening the Filipino Identity

Yes, this may be a struggle in this idea, but through widest educations, Filipinos
can be united as a country without considering their regional differences. How? through
abolishments of regions and establishing a common language among the country will
be a start for this. If we, Filipinos, feel the sense of belongingness in each part of the
country, we will feel United. Given the fact that it cannot be applied to the older ones, I
presume that it should be taught and firmly established in schools. the Children should
be taught to be nationalistic rather than regionalistic. Trainings in becoming a teacher
will be stricter and with higher standards so that we can strongly uphold whatever we
need to teach the youth. It will take a long time to accomplish this state, but it is better
than never.
 Free Trade and Market

This involves our warm welcome among foreign investors. It means lower taxes,
incentives for the companies that will invest in our country. Low labor cost should be the
mean of the strategy, and the government should create a department in control of the
policies and plans for the economy of our country. There should also be strong bilateral
ties with our neighboring ASEAN countries, and other treaty strengthening the relations.
This will initially lessen the unemployment rate of the country, however, at first, there
may be slow decrease on the poverty rate because of the low labor wage. Eventually, if
there are already plenty of foreign investors, there will be a shift to the status of their
lives as well.

Human Resource

Philippines, a highly populated country, may infact use this resource as their
means towards development without exploiting our natural resources, How? through
trainings, as advised and initiated with the government. These training schools will
enhance the skills of the Filipinos that will entitle them to good employees attracting
more investors in our country.

Reorganization of Government

The government is strong if it only composed of a one particular party,that will

reorganize and shape a new government capable of handling radical changes. This one
party will be selected from a qualified morally and academically pool of qualifiers as
suggested by the church. They will be the ones in decision how moral a person is,
because I think that a moral and exceptional qualified person will be suitable to govern a
diverse society. this also assures how this party will not abuse the power they will be
entitled to. The government will strictly embed discipline and will be the catalyst of
disciplined attitude our the country through stricter penalties for crime, better public
order and safety programs, and other concerns to the security of the citizens as well as
the foreing investors.
 Role of the Youth

The youth will be the catalyst of change. They will be taught in early years of
school discipline, morality, obedience and politeness, In short, good manners. I believe
that if the youth will be taught of the basic proper attitude and morality, they will be great
future leaders, and citizens. If we focus mainly on our youth to adapt radical changes in
need for globalization, there will be a more fresh ideas that will aid to the future
development of the country along with proper training.
