Project Proposal- Relight the Red Rose

Throughout the first 12 units I have learned so much. I have learned how to
use adobe software’s to the point where I am comfortable using Photoshop,
Audition and Premier Pro. I have also learned key terms in Media and how to
handle a camera properly also when and how to use the right equipment. I
also feel like units have helped me get better at researching and learning to
source information it has also made my writing skills better and I now feel
like a can write in a professional manor and manage to keep it consistent.
This has helped me pick a broader topic like WW2 as I feel like I can do
enough research so make sure I make the right project and film it in a
professional way where the audience will be invested in. I also feel a lot
more confident in making a final project like this as my time management
has gotten significantly better.

My production will about the prisoners of war in WW2 as I feel as that is a

topic that isn’t talked about enough and people forget about the prisoners
and the key parts they played in winning the war as their information was so
key. In particular I will be talking about Rudolf Hess as he was captured and
placed in Wilton Park which is near me. I have chosen this because not only
does it intrigued me it was also a major part in signifying that the allies was
going to win the war as the allies captured Hitlers right hand man. My aim for
my production is to make people walk away from my Factual Documentary
who have learned something new and are actually interested in what I tell
them. I believe that I can make it a professional project as it’s a documentary
so it’s better the more professional it is and I’ll make it so it’s a height quality
production. I have also chosen this as I am really interested in world war two
so I think I’ll be able to do a lot of height quality work as my research making
me more prepared for my final project.

I will look back on my work in how efficient I was with my time management
and if I could of done any better and the quality of the work as I always strive
to make a project that is professional and a height standard. I will also
evaluate my work in my research to see if I have done what I feel to be
enough research to really boost my chances to make a good production as
I’m making a factual documentary so I need to have important facts that will
make people shocked as they didn’t know about it. I will make sure that I
reflect on my work and not be biased as I want to make everything including
the written work professional.
