Proposal

Rationale
I have learnt alot since starting this course. I have learnt not just the pracital skills
like editing and filming. I have learnt there is so much more to planning and
research then what most people think i didn't know about locations recces and
how much detail everything needs. I have been introduced to new things i haven't
used like adobe audition and premiere. I have also learnt about camera angles and
what effect they have on the audience and the best time to use a camera
technique. I also learnt that everything you see in most productions is there for a
good reason and there to get a reaction from the audience.
Project concept
I have chose to do a music video as that really intreasts me as i have always loved
music and been fascinated on how they make music and all of the codes and
conventions. My aim is to create a hightly produced music video on the genre drill
it will fit the codes and conventions however i want to create somthing with a
deeper meaning therfore makeing the audeince take away a message and make
people judge people less and to stop putting people in a category just beacause of
the way they dress and speak. As that really means somthing to me as i am often
put into a category as soon as people see me. I dont need many resources
however i need actors so i will need to make and organise a day where i can get all
the actors i need for the day to film my project. I also need to book a time for a
studio as i am making the song myself and i want it to be the best quality i can
make it with my resources i have avalible. I have also made my survey with my 3
ideas and i have taken all the feedback into consideration and i have already made
a couple of change like my use of location and the way the song will be structured
as at first i wanted to create a song which is a narrative the whole time however i
am going to make it a mix between performance and narrative as that will keep
my target audience ingaged.
Evaluation
I will evaluate my work at the end of every week keeping it up to date on what i
have been doing, what i have changed and what proplems i have ran into during
the project. I will also reflect on myself and my work ethic at the end of each week
so if i get behind i know that i will need to push myself in the following week.
