NOTICE
ATTENTION: B. Tech. (Mechanical and Production & Industrial Engg.) Final Year Students.

SUBJECT: B. Tech. Project Assessment Schedule during SPRING 2020 – 2021.

The students are advised to note the following:

1. The Time Schedule for Periodic/Final Assessments are as follows:

Spring Semester MIN-400 B Expected Outcome Evaluation Date

First Evaluation Further Progress in the light of the objectives, Mar 20-21, 2021
analysis and modeling as per requirement (Saturday, Sunday)
Second Evaluation Completion of work as per objectives April 17-18, 2021
(Saturday, Sunday)
External Evaluation Viva-Voce and Report Submission May 7/8/9, 2021

2. Marks distribution for the Project Evaluation will be as follows:

Spring Semester MIN-400 B (8 Credits) Total Marks: 400

Assessment by Internal Assessment Committee (I & II) 120 (60 +60)
Assessment by the Supervisor(s) (I & II) 80 (40 + 40)
External Evaluation (Viva-Voce and Report) 200 (150 + 50)

3. The students are advised to contact their Supervisor(s) to plan and execute their Work and
should strictly adhere to the schedule.
4. During assessment, each project group is expected to present for 8-10 minutes highlighting the
progress followed by 4-5 minutes of discussion.
5. The group should explain briefly the activities to be followed for the completion of the
work/objective.
6. The stream coordinators will further communicate regarding the invitation/presentation link and
other details if any.
