VIII. DISCUSSION OF THE INSTITUTION’S VISION-MISSION, GOALS & OBJECTIVES
VISION
The Sta. Lucia Academy envisions itself to be an educational institution anchored on Academic
Excellence, Moral Formation, and Community Engagement committed to developing holistic learners
with 21st century skills.
MISSION
1. Provide quality education through effective instruction leading the learners to become critical
thinkers, communicators, collaborators and creators.
2. Develop the learners’ moral perspective inculcating the principles of pro-God, pro-man, and
pro-nature.
3. Intensify community engagement through active cooperation with the national and local
leadership in their developmental goals.
To carry out the school’s Vision and Mission, the administrators, faculty and staff, students,
parents, and the community in general and by invoking the aid of the Divine Providence are bound to
live by the values of Academic Excellence, Moral Formation, and Community Engagement and to work
together for the attainment of the following goals and objectives:
1. To prepare the students to become effective, efficient and responsible citizens of the community
through the implementation of a responsive curriculum.
2. To develop among the students and other members of the school community the feeling of friendship
and camaraderie to become good members of the community where they belong.
3. To give emphasis to curricular offerings and other related activities that enhance the total
development of society – spiritually, socially, economically, and ecologically.
