GUILDELINES IN VLOGGING/PROMOTIONAL VIDEO CONTEST

1. The contest is OPEN to all JHS and SHS learners. The working group per team must composed
of:
1 -director
2 - editors/layout-graphic artists
2 - cameraman/videographers
2 - scriptwriters
8 - artists/talents/support/technical members

2. Strictly one (1) entry per team. All entries must depict the Vision, Mission and Core Values of the
School.

3. Entries can include old, past and current pictures and videos of school activities (curricular and
non-curricular).

4. Entry Requirements of each team must be in English and Filipino and grammatically sound and
conform to standards.

5. Entries must strictly follow copyright rules and regulations as prescribed by the laws.

6. Entry teams will decide the materials to be used in their vlog. The use of drone is advised but not
mandatory if they do not have.

7. The vlogs should be in landscape orientation and at least 640 x 480 resolution. Vlog entries must
not be more than ten (10) minutes. It must be submitted in digital format (mp4, mov, or wmv)
with at least 720p resolution. It is advised that the entries be saved in a flash drive.

8. Entries will be uploaded in the Official Facebook of SLA for online viewing.

9. The winning vlog entry will be uploaded on SLA Facebook page.

10. Criteria for Judging:

Content and Relevance – 40%
Audio and Video Quality – 25%
Artistry – 20%
Organization – 15%

Total: 100%

11. Deadline of submission entry is on April 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Academic Office to Maam
Amelyn Ilarde and Sir Randy Gasalao.

12. The decisions of the appointed judges will be final.

13. By joining this competition, the participants agree with the guidelines of this contest and all the
provisions provided.
