MECHANICS

Tiktok Promotional Video


1. Each school shall have one (1) entry only.
2. Entries may be done individually or as a group.
3. Participants must make a Tiktok video promoting the product or service of the business of
their choice. The duration of the video must be a minimum of one (1) minute and a
maximum of 1 minute &30 seconds long, including the intro and outro.
4. The Tiktok must feature the business’ name, product or service, location, and social media
accounts.
5. Participants may use any editing software they prefer, but the final video to be submitted
must have the logo of Tiktok.
6. Participants may use music but the lyrics must not contain any explicit or vulgar language.
The music must also be non-copyrighted music to avoid copyright infringement.
7. Participants may use English, Filipino, or Bicol language. However, videos that are in the
Bicol vernacular must have English subtitles.
8. Entries containing dirty, foul, and offensive languages and graphics are subject to immediate
disqualification.
9. Entries must be submitted to the ABBS Regional Council email at
abbsregionalcouncil2021@gmail.com on or before (date and time) with the subject “School
Name - Tiktok PV Entry” (ex. ADNU – Tiktok PV Entry).
10. Entries must contain the following information:
a. Full name (first name, middle initial, last name)
c. Year and Course
d. A short caption about the business and its products or services

Vlogging
1. Each school shall have one (1) entry only.
2. Entries may be done individually or as a group.
3. Participants will choose the business that will be featured on their vlog. The chosen business
must be a homegrown Bicol-based Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME).
Participants may feature their own local business, if they have.
4. Participants must choose a business entity within their school’s cluster (i.e. a participant
from Naga College Foundation shall choose a business located in the Metro Naga cluster; or,
a participant from CSPC shall choose a business located in the Rinconada cluster.)

5. The duration of the vlog must be a minimum of three (3) minutes and a maximum of five (5)
minutes long.
6. The vlog must show the participants’ experience with the business and its products or
services.
7. The vlog’s content shall feature, but not limited to, the name and nature of the business,
brief history of the business, and how it is coping up with the effects of the pandemic.
8. Participants may use any editing software they prefer.
9. Participants may use music but the lyrics must not contain any explicit or vulgar language.
The music must also be non-copyrighted music to avoid copyright infringement.
10. All Vlog entries can use English, Filipino, or Bicol language. However, videos that are in
the Bicol vernacular must have English subtitles.
11. Videos must be in landscape orientation and quality definition.
12. Entries must be submitted to the ABBS Regional Council email at
abbsregionalcouncil2021@gmail.com on or before (date and time) with the subject “School
Name - Vlog Entry” (ex. ADNU – Vlog Entry).
13. Participants must also provide the following information:
a. Full name (first name, middle initial, last name)
c. Year and Course
d. Title and a short caption of the vlog

Songwriting – Commercial Jingle


1. Each school shall have one (1) representative (composer).
2. The commercial jingle shall be sung by the composer and/or their chosen interpreter/s
(singer/s). Aside from composer, there can only be a maximum of additional 2 interpreters
per school. The interpreter/s must meet the criteria set in the General Mechanics number one
(1).
3. Participants must compose a commercial jingle for a business establishment that will be
assigned by the organizers. Information about the business establishment will be provided
during the competition schedule.
4. The participants are given 1 hour and 30 minutes to compose the commercial jingle. The
commercial jingle must run for a minimum of thirty (30) seconds and a maximum of one (1)
minute, inclusive of the intro and outro.
5. The participants must be present in the virtual room, with their cameras open, all throughout
the time allotted for composing the commercial jingle.
6. The jingle must include the business name and its products or services.
7. Song adaptations (using melodies of existing songs) are not allowed due to copyright issues.
Violation of this results to disqualification.

8. Lyrics can be in English, Filipino, and Bicol languages. Combination of the languages is
allowed.
9. At the end of the time allotted for composing, the entries must be submitted to the ABBS
Regional Council email at abbsregionalcouncil2021@gmail.com on or before (date and
time) with the subject “School Name - CJ Entry” (ex. ADNU – CJ Entry).
10. Participants must also provide the following information:
a. Full name composer and interpreter/s (first name, middle initial, last name)
c. Year and Course
d. Title of the song

11. All entries will be forwarded to the owner/s of the business featured in the commercial
jingle. The said owner/s will have the sole authority to use the commercial jingles. The
composers waive their right of ownership of the commercial jingles.
