GENERAL MECHANICS
1. All participants must be a bonafide student of Northwestern Agusan Colleges.
2. Every year level must have one (1) participant in all events.
3. All entries must be video recorded and should be submitted on or before February 15, 2020.
4. Failure to comply any of the aforementioned may lead to disqualification.
5. There will be three winners- 1st Placer, 2nd Placer, and 3rd Placer.
6. The judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.
ORATION CONTEST
(Grade 7-12)
MECHANICS:
1. Participants shall be given prerogative to choose any oration piece deliverable in two to three minutes.
2. Participants shall memorize their piece.
3. The participants should wear formal attire.
4. The board of judges shall be provided with copies of the oration piece.
5. For every violation in every mechanics, 2 points will be deducted from the total score.
6. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
Voice and Diction - 25%
Gesticulation (Facial Expression, Hand/Body Movement) - 25%
Relevance to the theme - 20%
Mastery of the Piece - 20%
Video Quality - 10%

DECLAMATION CONTEST
(Grade 7-12)
MECHANICS:
1. Participants shall be given prerogative to choose any declamation piece deliverable in two to three minutes. It
shall be strictly declamation, not dramatic monologue.
2. Participants shall memorize their piece.
3. Participants shall be in an appropriate costume and shall use props whenever necessary.
4. The board of judges shall be provided with copies of the declamation piece.
5. For every violation in every mechanics, 2 points will be deducted from the total score.
6. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
Overall Interpretation - 35%
Vocal Aspects (Clarity of Voice, Diction and Enunciation) - 25%
Fluency and Mastery - 20%
Costume and Props - 10%
Video Quality - 10%
