GENERAL MECHANICS
1. All participants must be a bonafide student of Northwestern Agusan Colleges.
2. Every year level must have one (1) participant in all events.
3. All entries must be video recorded and should be submitted on or before February 15, 2020.
4. Failure to comply any of the aforementioned may lead to disqualification.
5. There will be three winners- 1st Placer, 2nd Placer, and 3rd Placer.
6. The judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.

ORATION CONTEST
(Grade 7-12)
MECHANICS:

1. Participants shall be given prerogative to choose any oration piece deliverable in two to three minutes.
2. Participants shall memorize their piece.
3. The participants should wear formal attire.
4. The board of judges shall be provided with copies of the oration piece.
5. For every violation in every mechanics, 2 points will be deducted from the total score.
6. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
 Voice and Diction - 25%
 Gesticulation (Facial Expression, Hand/Body Movement) - 25%
 Relevance to the theme - 20%
 Mastery of the Piece - 20%
 Video Quality - 10%

DECLAMATION CONTEST
(Grade 7-12)

MECHANICS:
1. Participants shall be given prerogative to choose any declamation piece deliverable in two to three minutes. It
shall be strictly declamation, not dramatic monologue.
2. Participants shall memorize their piece.
3. Participants shall be in an appropriate costume and shall use props whenever necessary.
4. The board of judges shall be provided with copies of the declamation piece.
5. For every violation in every mechanics, 2 points will be deducted from the total score.
6. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
 Overall Interpretation - 35%
 Vocal Aspects (Clarity of Voice, Diction and Enunciation) - 25%
 Fluency and Mastery - 20%
 Costume and Props - 10%
 Video Quality - 10%

STORY TELLING
(Grade 7-12)
MECHANICS:

1. Participants shall be given prerogative to choose any story to be presented.


2. Each contestant is given 3-5 minutes for the presentation of the story.
3. Participants shall wear appropriate attire with moral and ethical standard.
4. The board of judges shall be provided with copies of the story.
5. Backgrounds and props are allowed to support the story.
6. Time shall officially start when the contestants utter the first word of the presentation.
7. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
 Delivery / Role Presentation (Feelings, Eye contact – 40%
Facial expression, and Clarity)
 Voice Projection - 20%
 Mastery - 20%
 Props and Attire - 10%
 Video Quality - 10%

TIKTOK DANCE CHALLENGE


(Grade 7-12)
MECHANICS:

1. Every year level must have 1 entry.


2. Each participant must have their own tiktok account
3. Participants are free to use any music on TikTok and come up with their own choreography.
4. The video should be 60 seconds long
5. Usage of props, costumes and transitions is highly suggested
6. Attire worn must not be too revealing in any manner.
7. Indicate your name and year level in your caption and tag @cyrlyn23 in your videos and make sure the videos are
downloadable.
8. The official contestants will be posted together with the TikTok Dance Video entry to our facebook page.
9. Only Wow and Heart reactions will be counted
10. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
 Choreography (Creativity, Artistry & Style) - 50%
 Execution (Timing, Projection, and Expression) - 30%
 Online Voting (WOW and HEART reactions) - 20%

VOCAL SOLO
(Grade 7-12)
MECHANICS:

1. Every year level must have 1 entry.


2. Duration of song: Minimum of 3 minutes and maximum 5 minutes.
3. Participants can sing any song in English or Tagalog, based on the theme.
4. Back-up dancers and/or singers are not allowed. Pianists or guitarists are not allowed to perform together with the
participants.
5. Participants shall use minus one music for their performance.
6. Costumes worn must be appropriate to the song, and must not be too revealing in any manner.
7. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
 Vocal, Pitch, Rhythm & Diction - 30%
 Expression, Emotion & Showmanship - 30%
 Relevance to the theme - 20%
 Costume, Overall Impression - 10%
 Video Quality - 10%

SPOKEN POETRY
(Grade 7-12)
MECHANICS:

1. There must be one participant per grade level.


2. The piece must be written in Tagalog or English.
3. It should be written or owned composition (copying of piece from the internet or other sources is strictly
prohibited) and must be presented within 3-5 minutes.
4. The board of judges shall be provided with copies of the declamation piece.
5. Do not use profane and harsh words.
6. The piece must be connected to the theme.
7. Costumes or props must be appropriated to topic.
8. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
 Content - 35%
 Delivery / Role Presentation
(Emotion, Eye contact, Facial expression and Clarity) - 25%
 Relevance to the theme - 20%
 Mastery - 10%
 Video Quality - 10%

POSTER MAKING CONTEST


(Grade 7-12)

MECHANICS:

1. The contest must have 1 participant per grade level.


2. Each participant should submit ONE entry only.
3. The poster must illustrate, interpret and emphasize the theme of the Northwestern Agusan Colleges Founding
Anniversary.
4. The following materials will be used in the contest:
a. ¼ illustration board (white background & vertical format) and any pencil (to be provided by the contestant).
b. Coloring materials: oil pastel/crayon, markers, ink, mixed media, oil, acrylic and watercolor (to be provided
by the contestant).
5. Entries must be submitted not later than February 15, 2021 at Northwestern Agusan Colleges (High School
Faculty Building). Posters must be done in free hand and be officially submitted to Mr. Dante Jr. R. Bitoon.
The artist will be held accountable to any issues that may arise with regards to the originality and authenticity of
the design. Entries of each participant will be flash on the livestream.

 Creativity and Presentation - 40%
 Originality - 30%
 Relevance to the theme - 30%

DOBLE KARA CONTEST


(Grade 7-12)
MECHANICS:
1. It is open to all Male/Female in your grade level
2. Every grade level should have 1(one) participant
3. Participant is not allowed to use pointed object or dangerous materials as props.
4. Costumes worn must not be too revealing in any manner.
5. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
 Mastery - 25%
 Entertainment - 20%
 Voice Quality - 20%
 Choice of Music - 15%
 Costume and Props - 10%
 Video Quality -10%

CONTEMPORARY DANCE
(Grade 7-12)
MECHANICS:

1. Every grade level should have 1(one) participant


2. Participant is not allowed to use pointed object or dangerous materials as props.
3. Costume and Props must have a Christian Touch ( I t m e a n s t h a t s e x y s h o r t s , s a n d o , t u b e l e s s ,
b a c k l e s s , s l e e v e l e s s a n d s e e - t h r o u g h outfits are not allowed.)
4. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
 Choreography (Complexity, Mastery) - 30%
 Performance (Skills Drive, Power) - 25%
 Coordination and Style - 25%
(Foot Works, Exhibition, Stunts, Expression and Precision)
 Uniqueness - 10%
 Video Quality - 10%

MECHANICS FOR MOBILE LEGEND EXHIBITION TOURNAMENT


 Each team must have six (6) players. A five (5) main players and one (1) reserve to compete in an on-site Mobile
Legends battle. Every grade level will have one (1) official team to participate in the game. Player’s IGN and ID
number must be listed on/before February 3, 2020.
 Elimination round will be held on February 12, Friday.
 All matches will be played via draft mode.
 The tournament is exclusive to all Northwestern Agusan Colleges’ High School students.
 Each member of the team should have their own mobile devices with internet/data connection.
 Each player must have a minimum of level 8 account with at least 5 heroes.
