Mechanics
a. The contest is open to all Public and Private school teachers in the Province of Iloilo
b. Each congressional district shall have 1 contestant.
c. The content of the piece should depict the theme “Manunudlo Ako”
d. The medium of language must be in Hiligaynon or Kinaray-a
e. The delivery must not exceed 5 mins. One (1) point will be deducted from the total
score for every 30 seconds exceeded.
f. The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.

HIPHOP
Mechanics
1. The contest is open to all public and private school teachers in the Province of Iloilo
2. Every congressional district is entitled to one entry.
3. Each entry shall be composed of 10-15 dancers.
4. Performance must not exceed 5 minutes including entrance and exit.
5. Explosives and other harmful props is strictly prohibited.
6. The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.

ESSAY WRITING
(Teacher’s Diary)

Guidelines:

1. The essay writing competition is open to all public and private school teachers in the Schools
Division of Iloilo.
2. Each participant must only submit one (entry).

Mechanics:

1. Essay must be original and must expound on the topic “Teacher’s Diary””
2. Entry must be written in Hiligaynon and shall consist of not less than 500 words.
3. Entry must be typewritten, double-spaced on short-sized bond paper using MS Word. Font size shall
be 12, Century Gothic, with 1 inch margin top and right, left, and right.
4. No distinguishing mark or name of the contestant shall appear in the entry.

Criteria for Judging:

1. Content 40%
(Relevenace to the theme, Comprehensiveness, Originality, Insights)

2. Organization 30%
(Clarity of Thoughts, Creativity, Unity and Consistency)

3. Mechanics 20%
(Punctuation, Spelling, Capitalization, Grammar)

4. “Wow”Factor 10%

BIRIT CHALLENGE CRITERIA AND MECHANICS

Mechanics

1. The contest is open to all permanent teachers in the Division of Iloilo.

2. There shall be one entry per congressional district.

3. The contestant shall sing any OPM Pop Song (English or Filipino)

4. The duration of the performance will be 4-6 minutes only. One (1) point will be deducted from the
total score for every 10 seconds exceeded.
5. Official microphone provided by the management will be used during the contest.

6. Props are not allowed during the performance.

7. The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.

Musicality - 30%

Vocal technique, quality range and flexibility- 40%

Interpretation 20%

Stage deportment- 10%
