CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
2. All participants must be a representative of their respective houses (Jade, Pearl, Topaz,
Ruby) and are enrolled in the Academic Year 2020-2021.
4. English or Tagalog language only are allowed to be used as a medium of the song.
5. Each houses must have 1 representative for solo and 1 representative for duet, may be both
males, both females or male and female.
6. A participant shall not be allowed to represent in both solo and duet categories.
7. Each houses must submit a separate entry forms for solo and duet category to Yena Dawn
Abad via email/google drive (yenadawnabad@gmail.com) a week before the competition.
Contestants are to provide the song title together with the lyrics upon joining. The
Organizing Committee has the right to reject any song that has unsuitable lyrics.
8. The use of vulgar, sexually explicit and violent language is strictly prohibited.
9. The duration is not less than 2 minutes but not more than 5 minutes.
11. The Organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify any contestant who does not
adhere to any of the above rules and regulations.

SPOKEN POETRY RULES AND GUIDELINES
1. All participants must be bonafide students of Foundation Preparatory Academy for the
Academic Year 2020-2021.
2. There should be 1 representative from each house (Pearl, Ruby, Topaz, Jade).
3. Every participant must create an original piece that is not based from any references.
4. The piece shall consist of eight (8) stanzas, four (4) lines each stanza and needs to have a
rhyme.
5. The participants must memorize their own piece and strategize how they will deliver it.
6. The piece must be appropriate to the theme “Virtual Sports Competition: Breaking
Isolation through Social Connection.” The use of vulgar and unsuitable words are strictly
prohibited.
7. The participants must send their entries (pdf file) to the facilitator via email
(cmllmrny@icloud.com) on the 12th day of April, 2021 before 5:00 PM.
8. Faces, actions and gestures of the participants must be clearly seen in the video.
9. The participants shall wear costumes suitable to their written piece. Props are highly
accepted.
10. The participants are permitted to utilize background/instrumental songs or sound effects
for a much sensational presentation. There will be no deduction in points to participants
who will not use one.
11. The finished output (video) should be exported and passed to the facilitator via email
(cmllmrny@icloud.com) on the 14th day of April, 2021 before 3:00 PM.
12. The judging will be on the 15th day of April, 2021 during the closing program.

ZOOM VIRTUAL CHEERING GUIDELINES
1. All Participants must be bonafide students of Foundation Preparatory Academy for the
Academic Year 2020-2021.
2. Each house (Pearl, Ruby, Topaz, Jade) must have a minimum of fifteen (15) participants
and a maximum of twenty (20) participants.
4. The minimum length of the performance must be three (3) minutes and a maximum of four
(4) minutes. Teams who go beyond or fall short based on the time provided will be
penalized.
10. The judging will be on the 15th day of April, 2021 during the closing program.
Cheers
1. Cheers must always promote the house they represent.
Penalties/Point Deduction
1. Failure to follow the general guidelines no.2, no.3, no.6, and no.7 are subject to
disqualification.
2. Failure to submit the prerecorded videos on the allotted date will have a deduction on the
final score. A one (1) point deduction will be applied to the overall score for each minute
late after 5:00 pm.
3. A one (1) point deduction will be applied to the overall score for any second that exceeds
or falls short of the entire performance.
Technical rules
1. Three (3) judges will score the whole performance.

• The content of the cheer clearly promotes
30%
the house they represent.
• The cheer is well organized.
2. Musicality
• The tune and rhythm of the song is pleasing 10%
and appropriate to the content of the cheer.
3. Clarity of Voice
• The pronunciation of the words are totally
understandable. 10%
• The volume of the voice is clear and
moderate.
4. Choreography
• The movements show complexity and 10%
synchronization.
5. Mastery and Execution
• The participants maintain eye-contact to the
camera.
• The cheers are memorized thoroughly.
20%
• The participants show suitable facial
expressions.
• Timing, coordination, & projection is clearly
shown throughout the performance.
6. Creativity and Technicality
• The participants creatively utilized Zoom for
10%
their performance.
• Everything is planned through and through.
