SAYAWIT COMPETITION
December 14, 2022 (1 PM)
Guidelines

1. Every group is allowed only one entry composed of bonafide students of the said institution.

2. The duration of presentation should be minimum of 4 minutes and maximum of 5 minutes only.

Excluding the entrance and the exit. (A timer shall be appointed for the purpose). Deduction of

two (2) points for every excess minute will be imposed.

3. Christmas songs may either be Filipino or English composed by a Filipino songwriter.

4. All songs must be memorized.

5. Accompaniment is either live or minus one.

6. No heavy/elaborate props only hand props shall be used.

7. Strictly no trainer/s from outside.

8. No participant intoxicated with alcohol is allowed to join the contest.

9. No liquid or flammable materials are allowed.

10. The decision of the judges once announced is final and irrevocable.

 Choreography 30%

 Musicality 30%

 Execution 20%

 Costume and Props 10%

 Overall impact 10%

CHRISTMAS TREE MAKING CONTEST
December 14, 2022 (1 PM)

Guidelines

1. The contest is open to all colleges and departments of Negros Academy/Negros College.

2. All departments must provide their one best Christmas tree. No Christmas tree should be
higher than 4 feet.

3. The skeleton of the entry should be in the shape of a tree.

4. Christmas decors and ornaments must be made out of either recycled –materials or whatever
materials that contribute to the niceness of the Christmas tree .

5. Accessories such as lights and battery-operated mechanisms may be included however, it will
not take effect on the judging.

6. The name of the department must be written on the tree topper.

7. The unit must ensure that the Christmas tree is kept in good condition from the time of
installation until the judging process has been completed.

8. The decision of the judges once announced is final and irrevocable.

Criteria for Judging:

 Artistry 60%

 Originality 40%
