Look-ALike
Children are great imitators. Let us give them an opportunity to imitate the
person of their choice. This is an adult-child activity. All you have to do is
dress identical and show the resemblance through costumes, both (adult and
child) must dress identically. What's more? You get a chance to look like
someone famous. So, whether it's Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus or Robert De
Niro, all you have to do is to get the costumes right.

Number of Participants: 2 ( 1 Adult and 1 child )


Grade Eligibility: Group I: Play School and Nursery
Group II: Jr. KG and Sr. KG
Duration: 1 minute (Pre – recorded video)
Fees: Rs. 200/-
Rules:

1. Display of Talent – dancing, singing, mimicry, mono acting, speech or any


other chosen by the participant.

2. All participants are allowed to use props. Costume worn by the


participants should be age appropriate.

3. The pre- recorded video should not exceed 1 minute and must be shared
in .mp4 or .wav format.

4. Judgement will be based on the quality of work, creativity and


confidence.

5. Vulgarity or obscenity in any form will lead to disqualification.

6. Participants (students) must work under the direct supervision of their


parent or legal guardian.

7. Participants are required to mail the pre - recorded videos in the form of
OneDrive or Google Drive link to the School Event Coordinator latest by
17 November 2020 before 4 pm.

Let’s Dance with Mummy and Daddy!
Dear Mommy and Daddy, lace the little one’s dancing shoes, ignite your
dancing flame and illuminate the floor. So be ready to tap your feet along
with your little ones and let the world witness the spark stored in our future
dance legends.

Number of Participants: 2 ( Parent and child )


Grade Eligibility: Group I: Nursery
Group II: Jr. KG and Sr. KG
Duration: 2 minutes 30 seconds (Pre – recorded video)
Fees: Rs. 200/-
Rules:

1. This is a competition for mother/father and child (daughter/son).

2. All participants are allowed to use props.

3. The pre- recorded video should not exceed 2.30 minutes and must be
shared in .mp4 or .wav format.

4. The participants will be marked on choreography, costume, rhythm and


confidence.

5. Vulgarity or obscenity in the form of attire, moves and/or offensive lyrics


will lead to disqualification.

6. Participants are required to mail the pre - recorded videos in the form of
OneDrive or Google Drive link to the School Event Coordinator latest by

This is your time to shine. All you have to do is showcase your best skills,
something you are proud of. This could be anything from dance, song, magic,
storytelling, etc. So if you think you have it in you to be a performer, then do
participate.

Rules:
Round 1 (1 minute): Introduction:
 Participants will display their costume and introduce themselves.

 Theme: Retro Style (The theme is for Round 1 only).

Round 2 (2 minutes): Display of Talent:


 Dancing, singing, mimicry, mono acting, speech or any other chosen by
the participant. (Use of props is allowed)

1. Participants (students) must work under the direct supervision of their


parent or legal guardian.

2. Participants will be sharing 1 video for Round 1 and Round 2 each.

3. The pre- recorded videos should not exceed the stipulated time and must
be shared in .mp4 or .wav format.

Here's your chance to bring alive your thoughts! Give life to your ideas,
colour and imagination. Let your paintbrush/pencil bring out the magic on
paper. Budding Picasso is for those who believe art is magical and it can say
much more than a thousand words. So, open the doors to your imagination
and enchant the world with your unique ideas. If art is the music of
imagination and creativity, then play on.
Theme: My Favourite Cartoon

Grade Eligibility: Grade Jr. KG and Sr. KG
Fees: Rs. 100/-
Rules:
1. Participants must arrange for the required material such as A3 size art
sheet, pencils, erasers, ruler, sketch pens, crayons/oil pastels/pencil
colours, palettes, water bowls, scraps of cloth, brushes and glue sticks or
adhesives.

2. If needed then participants can arrange some additional materials like


old toothbrushes, vegetable blocks, crepe paper, sponge, tissue papers,
sand, dried leaves, chalk, etc. which can be used to enhance their
paintings.

3. Participants (students) must work under the direct supervision of their


parent or legal guardian.

4. Judgement will be based on creativity, neatness and originality.

5. Participant should share the picture of the artwork along with the
participant.

6. Participants are required to mail an image of the participant along the


artwork (high resolution images) to the School Event Coordinator latest

Select your favourite piece of foot-tapping music and set the dance floor on
fire with your moves. Bring the rhythmic sound in your feet, tap away to any
musical instrument of your choice and jazz up the atmosphere. A tip to get
you started: In addition to a perfect move and rhythm, a good attitude too
can get you going. So, whether it’s Jazz Tap, Broadway variations or
Bollywood grooves, make sure you have everyone swaying to your beat.

Paint your vision, bring alive your world on paper through colours and
paints. Become the true creator of your world - make unicorns, flying
elephants or anything that you always wished could happen in real life! Get
ready to capture the lights of fancy!

WoRd ping pong (speLL-o-pediA)
Are you bitten by the spelling bug? Well here’s one competition just for our
little wordsmiths. Read up your dictionary and get going. Spell every word
that there is and challenge the world of SMS.

Number of Participant: 1
Grade Eligibility: Group IV: Grades 3 and 4 | Group V: Grades 5 to 7
Fees: Rs.150/-
Rules:
Round 1: Elimination round
1. This is an elimination round.

2. Each participant will be given a set of letters, which will create a 9 or


more letter word. Example: Negotemrvn— >Government.

3. The participant will be given 60 seconds to find the solution.

4. This round is based on ‘first come, first served’ basis.

5. The qualifiers of Round 1 will move to the second round.

Round 2: Scribble Me Down


1. The ‘pronouncer’ will call out 10 words and the participant will type it.

2. Each word will be given 20 seconds after which the pronouncer will
pronounce the next word.

3. The evaluation will be done immediately and the qualifiers will move to
the Final Round.

The Final Round – Think it, Fill it, Spell it


1. Fill in the blank round.

2. A clue to a word is given. The clue maybe a picture, definition or any


other reference.

3. The speller will guess the missing letters that suit the given clue.

4. The speller who guesses maximum words in the least possible time will
be the Word Ping Pong Champion.

5. The competition will be conducted online on MS Teams/ Zoom.

A good salad is best enjoyed when it brings out the freshness and colours of
each ingredient. But before this, what attracts a dish is it’s garnishing, right?
So, bring out the best Michelin star chef in you and show your
cooking skills by adding a dash of creativity and design.

Group V: Grades 5 to 7

Rules:
1. A participant need to garnish a platter of salad with their favourite
toppings.

2. The decoration will be judged based on nutrition and presentation.

3. The ingredients used for making salad should be pure vegetarian.

4. Participants must work under the direct supervision of their parent or


legal guardian.

5. Participants are required to mail the following to the School Event


Coordinator latest by 17 November 2020 before 4 pm.
a. An image of a nutrition chart based on the ingredients used.
b. One minute video of the participant sharing the details about the
garnished platter.

taste buds tingling with mouth-watering delicacies all while ensuring the use
of healthy and nutritious ingredients. Let your child be your sous-chef in this
wonderful gastronomic competition that brings together parent and child.
This is an opportunity for all the young ones and our super moms to show off
their very own magic.

Rules:
1. Participation is allowed only when a student is accompanied by
an adult (mother).

2. The judgement will be based on the presentation and ingredients used.

a. An image of the pair (mother and child) along with the ‘prepared
dish’
b. One minutes video of the participants sharing the details about
the ‘prepared dish’.
