    Oral Communication Skills Competition

    Mechanics
    • The contestant must be a bona fide student of Core Science Academy.
    • There will be ONE representative each section.
    • The competition will be intersection. There will be one piece to be performed following
    the literature presented on their curriculum.
    - Grade 7- Philippine Literature
    - Grade 8 – Afro -Asian Literature
    - Grade 9- Anglo-American Literature
    - Grade 10 – Contemporary/ World Literature
    • Different areas of Oral communication skills will be shown according to grade level
    - Grade 7- Poem Recitation
    - Grade 8 – Story Telling
    - Grade 9- Story Telling
    - Grade 10 – Public Speaking
    • The piece will be given on December 09, 2020.
    • All videos will be uploaded on page “Mr and Ms Core Science Academy, therefore all
    music, images and videos should be cited properly to avoid plagiarism.
    • The deadline of the vlog will be on December 14, 2020 and should be submitted before
    12 noon.
    • The decision of judges is final and non-appealable.

    Delivery 40 %
    Interpretation and Believability 30%
    Technicality and creativity 20%
    Stage Presence and Over all Impact 10%
    total 100%
