District Science Fair, A Huge Success

Serving as the host school, Lipay National  High School Young Scientist was named as
the overall champion of the 2019  District Science fair held last Oct. 2,2019.
 
 The District Science Fair aims to focus attention on scientific experiences in school,to
stimulate interest in scientific investigation beyond routine class work, to recognize and
commend youthful scientific talent and hobby pursuits, to offer an opportunity for display
of scientific talent through exhibit and demonstration and to stimulate public interest in
the scientific abilities of students .

11 participants coming from the different schools around Santa Cruz gathered at LNHS
Quadrangle battling for one coveted title.

According to Marian Miraflor Pronton, Head  of Schools Science Department, Science


Innovation Expo both team and individual are now included in current competition.

The following students who advanced in 2019 Division Science Fair as follows : Simoun
Kinneth Morano for Robotics (Individual), Janna Fredeluces for Investigatory Life
Science (Individual), Ranielle Cubilla, Joshua Ebuen and Neil Sampaga for Robotics
(Team) and  Alyssa Generose Caacbay, Arianna Geri Caacbay, Jmar Jiyo Venoncio
and Paul Victor Ofonda for Investigatory Physical Science (Team).

In brief, the winners in each category  will earn they ticket as the advance in the 2019
Division's Science Fair to be held at Botolan South Central Elementary School this
coming October 10,2019.
