ABOUT SPE
Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) was officially founded in 1957. SPE’s predecessor organi-
zations date from the birth of the oil industry in the late 1880s. SPE is a non-profit professional
association whose members are engaged in energy resources development and production. SPE
is a key source for technical knowledge related to the oil and gas exploration, events, training
courses and online resources at spe.org. Income from SPE events and services are invested back
into SPE to support many other society programs.
SPE ITS SC is also registered in Asia Pacific Region as SPE Student Chapter. With registered
members more than 400 students each year, we are considered as one of the leading student
organizations in ITS.
ORGANIZATIONAL AWARD
Presidential Award for Outstanding Student Chapter is the most prestigious title given by SPE
International for the top 5% of student chapters that are exemplary in the scoring categories. While
The Student Chapter Excellence Award is the second-highest award that recognizes the top 20%
of eligible student chapters that have accomplished an admirable level of success. SPE ITS
Student Chapter has achieved the Outstanding Designation Student Chapter Award twice in a row,
in 2017 and 2018. Also in the previous year SPE ITS SC was nominated as the Excellence Student
Chapter by SPE International.
These student chapter’s award based on their programs in Industry Engagement, Operations and
Planning, Community Involvement, Professional Development,and Innovation. This three times
consecutive award recipient status declared SPE ITS SC as one of the leading student chapters
globally.
Petrolida
PETROLIDA 2021
Petroleum Integrated Days (Petrolida) is the biggest annual event held by
SPE ITS Student Chapter. This year’s series will be the 9th annual event.
Petroleum Integrated Days mainly focuses onseveral competitions in the
energy sector but also provides non-competition events.
OBJECTIVES
To serve as a platform for university undergraduate students to create
1 and innovate regarding today’s energy issues.
PETROLIDA MILESTONES
Petrolida is known as the pioneer of Fracturing Fluid Design Competition in 2018
in Indonesia and listed as the very first body to conduct the said competition
across Asia Pacific Region. Petrolida was chosen to be the host of the most
prestigious conference for SPE Student Chapter across Asia Pacific for two
times in 2016 and 2018 due to our stellar track records, namely Asia Pacific SPE
Student Chapter Conference (APSC). Constantly supported by reputable compa-
nies throughout various industries.

GENERAL RULES
2. Stock Trading Competition is the only competition that is open for public
3. All participants must submit the complete registration form and payment receipt before the

4. Each individual can only participate in a single competition and not allowed to be a member
of two teams nor competitions
5. All participants must obey the rules and requirements for each competition
6. All entries and administration documents will become the property of PETROLIDA 2021 and

Change in Rules
1. Competition rules are subject to change. Any changes in rules, clarifications or agenda will
be announced to all participating universities directly to participants email or during the
technical meeting.
2. Rules can be changed at any time and will be notified before the event starts.
Platform Instructions
1. All Competitions will be virtually held using ZOOM Meeting platform
2. All participants must be punctual and have adequate internet connection. Any connection
or internet problems experienced by participants are not committee’s responsibility
3. Participants display name should be “Competition Name_Team Name_Full Name” for the
presentation session
4. Any rule change about platform instruction will be informed directly to the participants by

Dresscode
1. Participants are expected to wear respective dresscode with the following criteria:

Competition Description
Participants firstly are required to make their project explanation that consists of
all necessary information of their semi-submersible oil rig. After passing through
the project explanation selection, there will be a final presentation stage. Partici-
pants are going to present their semi-submersible oil rig in front of our distin-
guished judges, including the Questions and Answers (Q&A) Session. The partici-
pants are also required to make a 3D video of their semi-submersible platform as
one of the judging criteria.
In recent years, oil and gas industry has experienced the biggest downturn in its
history. Since the pandemic, this situation impacts the oil and gas industry to find
the best way to survive this arduous condition, including oil rig platform that
needs to adapt in this new era to survive.
General Rules
1. This competition will be held virtually through Online ZOOM Platform.
2. This competition is open to all active undergraduate students; students under academic
sanctions are not allowed to participate in this competition.
3. Each university is allowed to send more than two teams for the Project Explanation sub-
mission. However, only two teams (maximum) from the same university will persist to the
final presentation stages.
4. Each team consists of 4 or 5 people based on the registration form. Members of the team
are allowed from different major but must be from the same university.
5. Member of the team is not allowed to be replaced after the registration form is submitted.
7. Each team must submit a Project Explanation. The committee will select the Top Eight
Project Explanation and announce it directly through participants’ email. These 8 teams
will be finalists of Petrolida Oil Rig Design Competition 2021.
8. Each team must send their Project Explanation by maximum February 26th 2021 23.59
(GMT+7)
9. Each team has to sends at least one of their representatives to attend technical meeting
seven day prior to competition.
12. Any kind of violation of the rules will face consequences committee already determined
such as point deduction or even disqualification.
13. The result of the competition will be announced on Petrolida Online Awarding Night.
14. Competition rules are subject to change. Any change of rules, clarifications, or agenda will
be announced to all participants via e-mail or at technical meeting seven day before the
event.
5. The test that will be conducted in the final stage is the presentation test, questions and
answers (Q&A) session and followed by Video Creativity assessment.
6. The Project Explanation and Video Creativity must be made following the format stated by
the committee.
4. Project Explanation must be sent by maximum February 26th, 2021, 23.59 (GMT+7) to

7. Failure to comply with the rules stated above may result in points reduction.
Presentation Guideline
The presentation stage for each team will consist of 10 minutes of presentation and 15 minutes of
question and answer, each team is given 5 minutes to prepare for their presentation as well as their
supporting material.
1. The presentation test will be conducted via online ZOOM platform.
2. All forms of communication during the presentation as well as the presentation material must
be presented in English.
3. The content presented must be in accordance with the Project Explanation that already sent to
the committee before.
4. All the members of each team should attend on the final presentation stage.
5. During the presentation, the whole team or the representative is allowed to be the speaker of the
presentation test.
6. The order of presentation will be decided via random picker wheel during the technical meeting.
2. Video may not consist of university attribute, university logo, organization attribute, and organi-
zation logo.
3. The video should be in vertical/horizontal with an aspect ratio 1080 x 1920p / Full HD and
should have a minimum frame rate 30 fps.
4. The video overview must consist of general information of the platform, systems, and innova-
tion.
5. The video should be sent through google drive link that has been given by Liaison Officer (LO) of
each team with the following format ORDC_Video Platform_Team Name_University Name

Presentation Delivery
The score is based on the capability and fluency of the team
while presenting their semi-submersible oil rig in order to con- 25%
vince our distinguished judges that their semi-submersible oil
rig was the most suitable one for the given offshore oil field.

The score is based on the details of the whole rig features and 10%
innovations, also the deliverability and creativity of the video.
Tournament Officials
1. Judges
Judges will assess the participant's efforts with points that will be used to count the final
point based on the portion stated before.
2. Moderator
Moderator will guide the whole process of judging by the judges during the presentation
process.
3. Operator
Operator will be the one who is responsible for the presentation media used in the competi-
tion
4. Time Keeper
Time keeper will tell the participants about the time left for each team to participate in
every session.
5. Host
Host will act as an operator which will be responsible for video conferencing platform tech-
nical assistance, admit or remove participants, mute or unmute participants, and maintain
competition ambience remain steadily.
6. Competition Committee
Competition Committee will responsible for all the competition execution on the Competi-
tion Day.
7. Liaison Officer
Liaison Officer will assist delegates needs mentally and technically throughout Petrolida
2021 series of events.
Equipment Requirements
1. Participants must have electronic devices : Tablet/Laptop/Computer, Headphone, Clip On
Mic.
2. Participants must prepare a good internet connection and sufficient device battery during
the presentation.
3. Any request for external assistance during the presentation will not be allowed.

5. The registration fee for Project Explanation Submission Oil Rig Design Competition is IDR
100.000/team (USD 10)
6. Project Explanation fees have to be paid before 20th February 2021 00.00 AM (GMT+7)
7. Top Eight (8) Project Explanation (that will be compete in the final presentation stage) are
responsible to confirm their attendance and must pay the fee in the amount of IDR
100.000/person (USD 10).
8. Full payment fees have to be paid before 16th March 2021 00.00 AM (GMT+7)
9. Finalist of Petrolida Oil Rig Design Competition will be announced on March 7th, 2021 via
Petrolida 2021 official account social media and directly to participants email.

Competition Description
General Rules
1. Open for all undergraduate students from any major of universities all around the World.
2. Each team is allowed to have members from different majors but must be from the same
University
4. Participants are not allowed to register themselves on two (2) different teams or more held
by Petrolida 2021 in the same year
6. The title used for registration, abstract, and final presentation must be the same and has to
be related to the main theme of case study competition
10. All entries and administration documents will become the property of PETROLIDA 2021
Organizing Committee and will not be returned
12. All the rules and regulation of Case Study Competition PETROLIDA 2021 are subject to
change, any changes will be announced at Technical Meeting one week before the event or
informed by email in advance to the Team Leader’s Email.
13. Fail to obey the rules, format or late submission may receive reduction of points or even
disqualifications.
14. Judges’ decision is final and cannot be changed nor interrupted under any circumstances

Presentation Guideline
1. Participants are required to wear formal attire during presentation
3. The time will start when the participant is ready to start, there will only be a timekeeper who
will remind each participant four (4) times: when only 8 minutes, 5 minutes, 3 minutes are
left for the presentation, and when 15 minutes of presentation has elapsed
4. Presentation will be done using Online Video Conferencing Platform , further technical
details will be informed at the Technical Meeting
5. The moderator and time keeper will directly cut and stop the presentation when the maxi-
mum time limit has been met
7. Participant should be in the main room of Zoom meeting at least 10 minutes before the
presentation starts
8. The order in which the participants present on the day of the competition will be drawn
during the technical meeting
10. Both Solution Report and Presentation must be written and delivered in English.

Competition Description
This competition was first introduced in 2018 and since then, Petrolida are known
to be the first and only body to ever conduct such event across Pacific Asia.
2. This competition is open to all active undergraduate students; students under academic
sanctions are not allowed to participate in this competition.
3. Participants must form a team that consists of three members from the same university
(different major is allowed).
4. Participants who already register for this competition are not allowed to participate in
other Petrolida competitions.
5. Member of the team is not allowed to be replaced after registration form is submitted.
6. All presentations, verbal communications, documentary instructions for the contest shall
be in English.
7. PETROLIDA 2021 Fracturing Fluid Design Competition consists of 2 stages, the preliminary
stage and the final stage (5 teams).
8. Each university is allowed to send a maximum of three (3) teams for preliminary stage, but
only up to two (2) teams from the same university may advance to the final stage.
9. All entries and administration documents will become the property of PETROLIDA 2021
and will not be returned.
10. The organizing committee reserves the right to final explanation. Any emergent change,
instruction and annex will be announced to all competitors through participants’ email or
during technical meeting (one day before the competition and a must attend).
11. Competition rules are subject to change. Any change of rules, clarifications, or agenda will
be announced to all participants via e-mail or at technical meeting one day before the
event.
12. All decisions made by the judges are absolute and indisputable.
13. Fail to obey the rules, format, and late submission may receive deductions of points or even
disqualification.
Competition Format
1. The purpose of this contest is to find the optimal mixture of fracturing fluid in the given case.
2. Fracturing Fluid Design Competition PETROLIDA 2021 is divided into preliminary stage and final
stage.
3. The teams that have registered before February 2nd, 2021 07.00 [GMT +7] will receive the case
via participant’s email on February 2nd, 2021.
4. For the teams that register on or after February 2nd, 2021 07.00 [GMT +7] will receive the case
via participant’s email on their D+1 registration.
Ex. Teams that register on February 3rd, 2021 will receive the case on February 4th, 2021.
5. General Knowledge paper is a paper to answer questions regarding general hydraulic fractur-
ing knowledge.
6. Fluid Design paper is a paper to answer the given case with a fluid design. It should contain,
but not limited to, brief background, design idea, detailed composition, economical consider-
ation, advantages, and conclusion.

14. Failure to comply with the rules stated above may result in points being deducted or

15. Only the best five (5) papers based on judges scoring, will be selected to proceed to the
final stage.
16. The finalists (5 teams) will be announced on 7th March 2021 via Petrolida 2021 official
account social media and directly to participant’s email.
Infographic Phase
1. Each team must submit a fracturing fluid design infographic based on each of their papers.
2. The infographic should contain brief explanations about fracturing fluid, basic illustration
in which the fracturing fluid is being used, and the advantages of the design.
3. The infographic must be an original work. Any type of plagiarism is strongly prohibited as
there will be point reduction.
5. The infographic must contain the logo of Petrolida 2021 and Society of Petroleum Engi-
neering. The place in which both logos are placed depends solely on each team's prefer-
ences.
7. Each team that has submitted their infographic is considered to agree for their work to be
posted or shared by Petrolida 2021.
9. The infographic must be submitted before April 7th, 2021 23.59 [GMT +7].
10. The infographic will be judged by the professional from the industry as a part of overall
scoring.
11. The infographic will be posted on the Official Petrolida 2021 website and there will be a
voting system where the one with the most votes will be the infographic favourite winner.
12. Failure to comply with the rules stated above may result in points being deducted or
disqualification.
2. All forms of communication during the presentation as well as the presentation material
must be presented in English.
3. The Powerpoint file of each team must be submitted before April 7th, 2021 23.59 [GMT +7]
via email directed to ffdc.petrolida@gmail.com
4. Each team presents their paper with the help of powerpoint after being invited by the mod-
erator. The presentation order will be shuffled during technical meeting.
6. Presentation time is 15 minutes, the time calculation starts when the participants are ready
to present.
7. The presentation phase continued with responses from judges, afterwards there will also
a QnA session with 2 other teams that will be called randomly by the moderator.
8. The selected team has 2 minutes to deliver the question and will be responded/answered
in 2 minutes by the presentator.
9. The participants are allowed to finish their presentation and QnA in less than the specified
time, but will not be allowed to conduct more. If times are up, the session will be stopped
by the moderator.
10. QnA session with judges will be conducted after all teams finished their presentation.
11. There are 5 questions from judges and each team has to choose one question, and will
have 5 minutes to answer.
12. During the presentation there will be five finalist teams, judges and organizing committee.
Beside those parties will be not allowed to follow the presentation phase.

5. Host
Host will act as an operator which will be responsible for video conferencing platform tech-

competition ambience remain steadily.

Competition committee will responsible for all the competition execution on the Competi-
tion Day.

2. The participants are required to post an Instagram post according to the template that can
be downloaded on bit.ly/Petrolida2021Twibbon
3. Participants are required to submit the payment receipt to the link that will be given during
the registration process
4. The registration fee is IDR 150.000/team (USD 15) and has to be paid at the end of each
team’s registration process.
6. The teams that have registered before February 2nd, 2021 07.00 (GMT +7) will receive the
case via participant’s email on February 2nd, 2021.
7. For the teams that register on or after February 2nd, 2021 07.00 [GMT +7] will receive the
case via participant’s email on their D+1 registration.
Ex. Teams that register on February 3rd, 2021 will receive the case on February 4th, 2021.
8. The finalists (5 Teams) of Petrolida Fracturing Fluid Design Competition will be announced
on March 7th 2021 via Petrolida social media and directly to participant’s email.
10. There will be no refund after receiving confirmation email as official delegates of Petrolida
2021.

Competition Description
2. Each team consists of 2 participants and each team will be invited in WhatsApp Group to
receive full information about this competition
3. Top 10 team of preliminary round will be the teams of the final round
4. Each team will get User ID and password for Online Trading
6. Participants who are currently working in securities company or mutual fund company or
investment manager are not allowed to join the competition
8. If there are any distractions that probably cause delays in online trading, the committee is
not responsible for any distortions or delays in the data during online trading phase
9. Participants agree not to sue for any problems and/or financial accountability to the event
committee
10. The decision made by the judges and the committees is absolute and cannot be interrupt-
ed
12. Teams that will be in the final phase will be announced on March 21st, 2021
13. Teams also will be given study guide and the continuation of final phase by online meeting
14. Teams will give their arguments from study guide which has given before
Competition Format
1. This competition will be divided into two stages: Online Trading stage and Focus Group
Discussion stage
3. Online Trading stage requires participants to gain the highest profit from capital gain while
focus group discussion stage requires participants to provides their arguments in writing
and in direct discussion based on study guide that have been given before
2. The stocks that will be transacted by the team are the stocks included in LQ45 index during
the period. Team who buys stocks outside LQ45 will be eliminated.
4. At the end of the competition period, all stocks must be sold (realized profit)
5. Team who still in holding status at the end of period will be automatically sold by our
system
3. Each team will be given a specific time limit to deliver their speeches.
5. The formal discussion will be held for 6 hours, with a 15 minutes break in each session.

Petrosmart Competition
Competition Description
6. Total participants for preliminary round are 12 teams (if the registration participants
exceed 12 teams, there will be finalist selection)
7. All rounds will be using a web video conferencing with room’s participants consist of the
active team player, judges, and competition committees.
8. Correct answers are determined from the answer key and if participant’s answers are
different from the answer key, then the correct answers are determined by the judges
9. Each team is allowed to play in web video conferencing’s room according to the allocated
time.
10. Each participant must be punctual and is expected to have good internet connection. If
there are any problems in participants’ internet connection, committees will not be respon-
sible
11. Each team is allowed to have group chat channel in ZOOM app along with their LO
12. Brackets, any additional information and change about rules will be informed through
Petrolida’s official social media
Competition Format
Finalist Selection
1. Finalist selection will be held on February 27th, 2021 if the registration of participants
exceeded 12 teams
2. Online selection will be using website-based online form with date and time limit.
3. Each team must finish 25 short answer questions which consist of 5 topics (trivia, produc-
tion, exploration, offshore and drilling)
4. First rule scoring will be based on online form score and top 12 teams with the highest
score will be invited to join preliminary round in Petrosmart Competition Petrolida 2021.
5. Secondary rule scoring will be applied, if there are three teams from the same university
reach the Top 12. Only two (2) teams from the same university with the highest score will
be chosen to join preliminary round in Petrosmart Competition Petrolida 2021.
7. More detailed regulations will be explained in guidebook and invitation for online selection
will be sent through participants’ email
8. Registration fee for finalist selection is IDR 100.000,00 per team (USD 10)
Preliminary Round
1. Each team will play alone in the web conferencing room with tournament official and
judges
3. Twenty (20) compulsory questions will be provided for each team in this round
4. Each team will be given maximum of 15 minutes to play this round (10 minutes to answer
the questions and 5 minutes for technical preparations)
5. The time limit to answer the questions is 10 minutes (timer will be shown in committee’s
screen)
6. In this round, participants are allowed to say “pass” if they want to keep the questions to be
repeated and answered later
7. The moderator will repeat the kept questions after these two conditions are reached: all 20
questions have been read and there is still time left
9. The total points of all teams in this round will be ranked, and 8 teams with the highest score
will proceed to the semi-final round
10. If there are any condition where there are more than 8 teams that have the same score,
there will be an extra preliminary round that conducted by sudden death round.
11. Playing order for this round will be determined by the committees
Semifinal Round
1. There will be 8 teams competing in the semi-final round
4. The semi-final round will be conducted in dual elimination (upper and lower bracket)
5. Committees will provide 13 envelopes which consists of 15 toss up question and bonus
question respectively.
6. Each envelope only can be chosen each round and decided by random generator
Final Round
1. There will be 3 teams competing in the final round
4. There will be 25 questions provided behind a numbered box with the amount 5 questions
for each topic including Exploration, Drilling, Production, Offshore and Trivia

Participants will have the opportunity to choose a box randomly
6. Box-choosing order will be determined by a toss-up question and clockwise from the audi-
ence viewpoint is applicable (further explanation in technical meeting)
7. The order only for choosing box, not for answering the question
8. A team is allowed to choose a box after the moderator called out the team’s name
9. After the box was chosen, the moderator will read the question and toss-up questions rule
are applied
11. If there is no answer within 5 seconds (15 seconds for calculation questions) the box will
still be opened, but points at the box will decrease into its half. Participants still have the
opportunity to choose that box again in the next turn
12. There will be rewarded points for the correct answer and there will be no deduction point
for the incorrect answer
13. There will be a stop card for the team which answer incorrectly three times (multiples of
three are applicable)
14. A team which get stop card, cannot choose a box and answer a question only for a recent
turn
15. A stop card for a team will be disappeared after the recent turn has finished and box-choos-
ing order back to normal
16. A team who can answer 3 boxes in line (vertically and horizontally) correctly will get double
points of total points at that 3 box
17. The final round will be limited for 30 minutes (time starts right after the first team choose
a box)
18. The winning team will be decided by the amount of total score. Team with the highest
score from final-round will be the winner
19. If two teams had the same final score, there will be one additional toss-up question to
decide the winner (will be explained in technical meeting)

Moderators will read the questions, state the rules of the competition explicitly, ask the
judges to determine the correctness of team’s answer, declare score reward and deduction,
and call out the team name who have the right to answer.

Question Type
Questions that will be given consist of 5 topics (exploration, offshore, production, drilling and
trivia) about petroleum. Question’s source could be from published journals and papers; books
and e-book; Schlumberger oilfield glossary; PetroWiki glossary; and another valid sources.
There will be 3 (three) types of questions:
Compulsory Question
• 20 compulsory questions will be provided for each team in every stage in preliminary round
• Participants will have 5 seconds to give the answer after the moderator has finished reading
the question
• Team will be rewarded 10 points if the answer is correct when the question is first read out.
However, if they keep the question and could answer correctly, they will get 5 points.
• If the answer is incorrect, there will be points deduction
• There will be a bonus point if the team get streak correctly answer.
Toss-up Questions
• This type of question available in semi-final
• Each team may buzz in to answer a toss-up question at any time after the moderator has
begun reading the question
• If the participants buzz in before the moderator has finished reading, the moderator will stop
reading the question and call out the team’s name who has buzzed in. Then, the participant
who is called out, is allowed to give their answer.
• If the answer is correct, there will be rewarded points. If the answer is incorrect, there will be
a deduction points, and the moderator will continue reading the question. Another team will
have opportunity to buzz in
• If the moderator has finished reading the question, participants will have 5 seconds to buzz
in. If the answer is correct, there will be rewarded points. If the answer is incorrect, there will
be deduction points, and the other team will have opportunity to buzz in
• An answer for a toss-up question must be given within 5 seconds (15 seconds only for calcu-
lation question) after the moderator called out a team’s name. No answer within 5 seconds
considered as incorrect answer.
• If the participants give the answer before the moderator called out their team’s name, moder-
ator reserve the right to invalidate that participant’s response, turning the question over to the
other team
Bonus Question
• Bonus questions only available in semi-final round
• A team will get one bonus question if they can answer 3 top up questions correctly in a row
and will get one more bonus question if it continues up to 5 top up question in a row
• Bonus question will be read by the moderator with a particular instruction after all the main
questions have been read
• Participants will have 5 seconds to give the answer after the moderator has finished reading
the question (for calculation question will be given 15 seconds)
• Participants can deliver the answer to this question directly
• Team will be rewarded points if the answer is correct
• If the answer is incorrect or no answer, there will be no point deduction

Equipment Requirements
1. Laptop with installed web video conferencing application (zoom)
3. Textbook, e-book, cheat sheet, stationary, internet browser, gadgets, and any electronic
device (except laptop or PC) are prohibited
2. All teams must be concern to the guidance from their LO and to be fast respond in the com-
petition day
3. All participants should turn on their video, seated in good manner (at least upper body is in
the view of camera) and only unmute their microphones when giving answer directly

Competition Description

2. This paper competition is open for members and non-members of SPE Student Chapter.
3. Each paper can be made individually or by a team consisting of three (3) persons for each
team, members of the same team are allowed to come from different majors but must
come from the same university.
4. Participants are not allowed to register themselves on two (2) different teams or more.
5. Each team is allowed to register more than one abstract with additional fee.
6. The title used for registration, abstract, full paper, and final presentation must be the same
and has to be related to the main theme of “Achieving sustainable development in oil and
gas sector through eco-friendly practice utilizing innovative and applicable innovation”
7. Content of the paper must be related to at least one of the sub-themes determined.
9. At the time of submission, both paper and presentation must not have been published in a
professional journal. Paper that has been presented internally at university, paper contests
sponsored by universities and SPE sections, or paper contests in other organizations are
eligible.
11. The topic of the abstract submitted has to be the same with the final paper.
12. Participants will be automatically disqualified if there is any evidence of rules violations.
14. Competition rules are subject to change. Any rule, clarifications, or agenda changes will be
announced to all participants via E-mail or at the technical meeting one day before the
event.
Competition Format
1. Petrolida 2021 Paper Competition is divided into two stages; Abstract selection and Paper
presentation
2. Professional judges will screen and have full rights to decide the 10 chosen abstracts.
3. The Top 10 chosen finalists who will go further to the final stage will be announced through
Petrolida 2021 official accounts and directly through participants’ email

Presentation Guideline
1. All forms of communication during the presentation as well as the presentation material must
be presented in English.
2. Each participant will be given a maximum of 3 minutes to prepare their presentation, 15 min-
utes to present their paper and a 10-minute question & answer session with the judges.
3. The time will start when the participant is ready to start, there will only be a moderator who will
remind each participant four (4) times; when only 8 minutes, 5 minutes, 3 minutes are left for
the presentation, and when time reaches the 15 minutes mark therefore ending the presenta-
tion.
5. Participants should be in the Zoom waiting room at least 10 minutes before the presentation
starts.
6. Any request for external assistance during the presentation will not be allowed.
7. The order in which the participants present on the day of the competition will be drawn during
the technical meeting.
9. The winning team will be decided by the amount of total score. Team with the highest score
from final-round will be the winner.
10. If two teams had the same final score, there will be one additional toss-up question to decide
