YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT

Project Overview:
Create a character that represents the foods that
you eat on a regular basis. It should represent your
current eating habits and daily food choices.

Instructions:
1. Print out this page and turn it in with your
project (5 points).

2. Your character must be:


a. Made up of 10 or more foods (10 points).
b. Creative, colorful, decorative and hand drawn (40 points).

3. On a seperate piece of paper include:


a. A list of 10 foods that are portrayed in your drawing (5 points).

b. A 10 Sentence response (40 points).


i. Describe your character and why you drew it that way, is
your character mainly healthy, unhealthy or balanced?
Explain Why.
ii. What influences the food choices that you make?
iii. What is 1 unhealthy food in your drawing and what makes
that food unhealthy? OR What is 1 healthy food in your
drawing and what benefits does that food offer for the
body?

iv. After learning about nutrition in Health Class, is there


anything you would change regarding your current eating
habits? Why, or Why Not?
