Short Video -Teacher Actions

instruments.”

o “What kind of instruments did they have?”

o Students will be watching video and talking about the instruments.
o This is meant to help them brainstorm what they want to make.

Making o “Now I’m going to hand out a sheet where you can brainstorm your ideas.”
Instruments o “I want you to draw your instrument and think about what materials you will use.”
(40 minutes) o “Label your instrument and write what kind of instrument you are creating.”
o “Remember it doesn’t have to play music! It can be more like an art piece.”
o “Once you are finished I will approve your work and let you start creating your
instrument.”
o “All glue guns will be at the back and only adults can use them. All extra small materials
will also be at the back.”
